« We were impressed with the coziness, relaxing atmosphere forever views of the ocean and Monastery Beach and all the amenities that you will need in a small place. Very comfortable, quiet and secure. Close to hiking trails, commercial malls like the Barnyard, gas stations and a short drive to Carmel Point, Scenic Drive, Carmel Beach and Ocean Ave shopping and fabulous restaurants. « The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics, including things like cooking oil and spices. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (the listing doesn’t specify this). The layout is odd—the bedrooms are tiny and the beds are really crammed in there. The bathroom is huge, probably larger than the bedrooms. The "living room" is more of a foyer and definitely not set up for any more than 2 people. The furniture and decor is kind of random, like they raided someone's grandma's...

« The ocean, shoreline and cottage were wonderful. We sat outside and talked for hours and listened to the ocean. We had everything we needed in the cottage and then some. Would willingly return again. »

« We had the most fabulous stay in this cottage with our dog. The house was very light, cute and clean. Everything was as described. The location in PG is close to the beach, great restaurants, Carmel and wineries. This place is perfect for 1-2 people. Our dog loved the fully enclosed yard. The host was easy to communicate with. We would stay there again! »

« The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space. »

« Unfortunately, my party wasn't up for the 20 minute walk into town so it didn't really serve my ideal of being close ish to everything but it still was lovely. The back deck was perfect for impromptu dance party for the 4 of us (hahahah) and card games. »
