« It was a wonderful get away. We got to watch the stars and enjoy the sound of nature. If we felt like going into town Bastrop was not very far and had wonderful things to do in town. the Paige farmhouse dinner was very close and delicious food. We cant wait to come back and try staying at the Hobbits nest »

« It was the best place for me and my dogs to stay. Being on a 200 acre hidden cabin with 2 big dogs and no one around to bother us was wonderful. The dogs got to explore, hunt and chase critters! The bed linens (pillows, duvet) could use replacing and/or a really good washing. I had to use my own pillow because the pillows smelled like dirty hair and I had to turn the duvet upside down because one of the corners smelled like bad body odor. The bed sheets were clean, but the items contained in the clean linens...

« We had a nice relaxing stay at this house. It was so restful to come back here after spending time in the city. Also very clean. Super comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. The bed sheets were a little too strongly smelling of laundry detergent, living room could’ve used a coffee table or a rug to make it more cozy. Bedrooms felt a little sparse without any furniture or curtains . »

« The cabin was a perfect place to stay for us to attend a close by music festival. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. »

« The house was nice and had just about everything we could have hoped for - enough trash bags, paper towels, plastic utensils and paper plates/bowls. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc. for the showers. Bob was accommodating and kind and let us check out a couple of hours late. There are just a few things we wish we had known before: 1) All of the rooms are connected! Each bedroom leads to another bedroom and another and so on. Along with that, not all rooms are on central AC making it hard to provide...

« Best part about this place is the view and peace that comes from being in the country. The cabin was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and the owner provided excellent directions both to the cabin and for check out procedures (very minimal and easy to manage)! »
