« We stayed here for 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The pictures don't do it justice. The peace and tranquility every morning having coffee on the porch and in the "lookout" is unbeatable. « I stayed in the Treehouse suite for a week in early September. Hosts Vicky and Micky were consummate hosts. The ranch was spacious with delightful critters and Micky was wonderful, taking me on a trail ride and gave me two horse riding lessons, as well as a tour of the bird sanctuary and farm animal encounter. « Owner called and said the Vrbo had made a mistake and we did not get the cabin we had reserved on the website and that we were going to have to pay extra if we needed the extra bed. So our group of 11 became party of 7 because the other party could not afford the extra room. Where we were replaced was nice, but we were placed in separate cabins. My nephew is blind & made it difficult for him to join us when we united into one of the bigger house . The house was a trailer house and not the house...

« I can’t say enough great things about our stay here. The owners are so nice and the cabin was absolutely what we needed. Peace and quiet, they have everything you need for a family with kids. Pack and play, toys, kids book, playground, all the pots and pans, COLD AC, fire pit. We will be coming back many times! We went to sea world and the zoo, it’s close to everything but secluded. Beautiful night sky and El Chapparel was awesome, splurge for the margs! »

« Great property, friendly management and very helpful. Great location and we enjoyed going for the day to Fredericksburg and also saw lots of wildlife. The boys enjoyed the horse back riding offered by the owners of our rental property. All around great stay and close to town if you just want to get out or need supplies. »

« Our stay was shorter than intended due to requirements we overlooked in researching our travel needs for my mother who has limited mobility issues. Nonetheless, we were quite pleased with the place and especially with our hosts. « We could have had an awful experience, driving up into the Hills with the crazy Christmas weather that hit the states this last weekend. But we didn’t. Vicky and Micki were amazing hosts, communicating the status of electricity and the water as they not only set space for their inbound guests, but managed a fully functioning farm.
