« Owner called and said the Vrbo had made a mistake and we did not get the cabin we had reserved on the website and that we were going to have to pay extra if we needed the extra bed. So our group of 11 became party of 7 because the other party could not afford the extra room. Where we were replaced was nice, but we were placed in separate cabins. My nephew is blind & made it difficult for him to join us when we united into one of the bigger house . The house was a trailer house and not the house...

« I can’t say enough great things about our stay here. The owners are so nice and the cabin was absolutely what we needed. Peace and quiet, they have everything you need for a family with kids. Pack and play, toys, kids book, playground, all the pots and pans, COLD AC, fire pit. We will be coming back many times! We went to sea world and the zoo, it’s close to everything but secluded. Beautiful night sky and El Chapparel was awesome, splurge for the margs! »

« Great property, friendly management and very helpful. Great location and we enjoyed going for the day to Fredericksburg and also saw lots of wildlife. The boys enjoyed the horse back riding offered by the owners of our rental property. All around great stay and close to town if you just want to get out or need supplies. »

« We enjoyed our stay at the Bavarian Cottage @ Home Away Ranch. Enjoyed watching all of the animals but especially the little piggy and the goats that came to visit us daily. The Bavarian Cottage has an amazing deck to enjoy and great view of the horses and playground. Hosts Micky and Vicky were great and sent us a text upon our arrival to see if we needed anything and were very responsive. We stayed here while visiting family in San Antonio and we will definitely stay again during future visits! »
