« Amazing! We were initially put in Room 3 which we found a little disappointing for what we had paid. We asked for Room 5 (our very favourite room) and we were delighted to change rooms (although slightly confused why we hadn’t been offered that one first?). Room 5 was stunning and impeccably clean and inviting, although very ( a little too) warm on arrival Our bar meal was excellent, the bar manager was wonderful and kept the real fire stoked all evening which enhanced the cosy pub...

« Lovely four night stay at this wonderful guest house in Matlock Bath. Paula and Shaun were excellent hosts: greeted us on arrival, fed us well and shared local knowledge of things to do, where to walk and places to eat etc etc. We would definitely recommend. »

« joli Bed and Breakfast. bon service. Joli petit déjeuné avec des fruits frais. notre chambre contenait deux lits qui aurait pu être reliés et attachés ensemble pour n'en faire qu'un. Jolie petite salle de bain privée. seul défaut, la route pour monter est assez étroite. Heureusement qu'il y en a deux.(nous pouvons donc choisir laquelle nous voulons) »

« Every thing was good thanks . But got lock out the hotel .there was contact number for someone to let you in . All you got was number to the main office. Luckily when to the boat inn and the manageress of the boat inn new someone staying that the greyhound hotel that let us in. Just need a direct number for help. Thank you »

« My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer.
