« Our room was clean and the parking was close by. We were walking distance from everything and they provided a shuttle to the ferry. The only problem we had with the room itself was the very poor lighting. »

« The Hamilton Very close to the ferry to Mackinac Island. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, giving us the convenience of purchasing our tickets the night before our morning ferry ride and a small discount for our Shepler ferry tickets. The entry area looked and smelled clean upon arrival. Our king room was very clean. »

« We enjoyed our stay. You can tell the property is very old but renovated. All the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The price point to stay there is pricy and should be cheaper in my opinion. Unless you get a taxi (horse and carriage) prepare to walk a lot. The hotel sits on a large hill. We will probably stay here again if we can find a bargain. »

« Terrible experience. This is my first public comment over 30 years of travel. Extremely noisy elevator bell located right in front of the room (which is not mentionned upon booking). Rambling noise starting a 4:30 am probably due to washing machines. I do not bother commenting on the rest. A hotel which does not guarantee proper resting should not exist. Avoid at all cost. »
