„When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there. „Our check in time was 3pm and although the booking was accepted and property details provided, we were not send the code to access the key box. We messaged the host for the final access details as we were arriving and got no response. We called VRBO who provded details to contact the host directly and also no response. We then recieved a message at 3:45pm (after the 3pm check in time) cancelling the booking due to a 'water leak'. Why the host was checking for water leaks after the time we were ...

„We were extremely happy with our stay. The area is lovely and friendly. The property was spotless, cosy and welcoming. Many facilities supplied as extra too. Will definitely return.“

„We received no communication from the owner of how to access the property. We were standing outside and had to contact VRBO support. The house is in an awful area, the garden hasn't been mown in years and there is trash around the property. We were only provided with two towels for a family and they said that was all we needed. I will never use VRBO again as they don't care about their customers experience.“

Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didn’t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. Considering the price and the small space, I think a complimentary addition of bits in the fridge would be good.
