„We have stayed at Palmetto Cottage 2 years in a row. It is a beautiful property in a fabulous location. It is homey, has central AC, if needed, and lots of kitchen goods for cooking meals. Both the inside living space and the porch were great for sitting and relaxing. The sandbar and beach are stunning. “

„The cottage was no frills but had everything we needed and was nestled in a quiet area surrounded by native vegetation and many types of birds. The screened in porch and pool was perfect for relaxing too. The pier is a few feet away with easy access for kayaking or watching the green sea turtles from there. Valerie is a top notch host and ensures that you have everything that you need. Thanks again Valerie - we had a great time!“

„Visited with partner and her parents. The road is rough, as with most roads off of the highway on Eleuthera. The house is beautifully minimal, but has the essentials that you need. The view from the house is breathtakingly beautiful, and the visceral experience down at the beach is humbling in the best way possible and in a way that I do not think can be re-created anywhere else.“

„You cannot find a more beautiful view from a deck. The location is amazing with a swimming beach that is almost empty of people most of the time. You can see turtles and stingrays when snorkeling from the beach. The house has everything you need and is very well taken care of. The owners are helpful and we are incredibly grateful that we were able to stay in their home.“

„Purple Papaya checked off all of our boxes. It was clean, with a pool, and the view, my God, the view. Everyday we walked on the beach, got in the ocean, got in the pool only to take another walk during the sunset. Watching the sunrise was life changing!! „We booked this property last minute due to the weather window and so glad we did!!! Lisa and Jeff met us at the dock, showed us around, and were so hospitable! They even helped us identify the fish we caught and Jeff helped us clean it and brought us the fryer to cook it up for dinner. Highly recommend this beautiful, relaxing property with amazing hosts!“

„The house is one of the newer on the island. It is located on RUSSELL island , across from the wonderful Sandbar. I would not say there is direct access to a beach. But you can easily hang out at the Sandbar beach, which is super popular destination for boaters to pull up, calm water, great food and drink. Ausstattung, Lage, etc.) kann ich nur bestätigen. Die Eigentümer und Vermieter sind auch direkte Nachbarn, unaufdringlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein Auto ist wirklich nicht nur empfehlenswert, sondern nötig. Wir würden wieder kommen.“

„Die Unterkunft hat Residences / Wohnungen und ist somit kein Hotel. Es gibt kein Frühstück im Haus, das Dinner Restaurant war geschlossen an allen Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes. Tägliches Zimmerservice nur für zusätzlich 100$ pro Tag. Somit keine frischen Handtücher........Keine Minibar im Zimmer und eine dürftige Infrastruktur - minimarkt - ca 10min Fussmarsch. plus der Strand aber auch hier keinerlei Service am Strand die Zimmerausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen“

„This house and property could not be more stunning! Our group of 14 (3 families with kids 5-15 yrs) had plenty of space and privacy for all. All 3 of the master rooms had amazing views. The showers and bathrooms are so large that multiple people could get ready for dinner each night.
