„This boat is definitely only for people that can handle the nomad lifestyle. There are no restroom facilities on the boat, but there is a community bathroom with a shower at the yacht club. The bathroom was very dirty, but I understand that isn’t the hosts fault. The boat itself could benefit from a good deep clean. Really enjoyed sleeping with the hatch over the bed open and looking at the stars. Security roams the place at night and we didn’t have to worry about leaving our swim suits/towels ...

„We had a wonderfully peaceful stay on the West Star in the San Diego area. The accommodations were exactly as expected. Well cared for and appropriately appointed. The marina itself was lovely. Just such a pleasant environment to spend a peaceful stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They made it so easy and efficient. We would definitely do it all over again. If you’ve never stayed on or spent any time on a yacht, this is a unique opportunity. Well worth it. Highly recommended!!!“

„My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Many great restaurants within walking distance and very cute town. The houseboat is clean and updated. Has everything for cooking meals in too. The bed is very comfortable. Our favorite place was the top deck. We sat up there every evening to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Mallory was always responsive to messages and made a great video to show how to find the houseboat and use everything inside. It was a unique experience ...

„I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy ...

"Alles bestens - gute Nähe zum LAX Airport - Zimmer grosszügig - Betten sehr bequem - Fitnesscenter vorhanden - Parken viel zu teuer - Bar ist sehr gut - aber eher auf der teueren Seite - alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. "

"The hotel is extremely conveniently located close to the main attractions in Hollywood. Offers, cleanliness, friendliness and service are impeccable. The room facilities are a little dated. The missing suitcase rack was added immediately upon request. I was a guest at the hotel for the third time on holiday. As a completely normal hotel guest, I found it remarkable that several members of staff recognised me independently of each other years later. This human environment is worth a lot and contributes greatly to a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others."

"Auf unserer Durchreise für eine Übernachtung. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön und Zimmer absolut sauber und einladend. Es liegt direkt am Hotspot der Sehenswürdigkeiten und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen."

Gute Lage aber sehr laut

"Hotel an guter Lage, die Zimmer sind jedoch extrem hellhörig und man versteht jedes Wort der Nachbarn. Zimmer mit Veranda direkt beim Pool nicht zu empfehlen - jeden Abend ist laute Musik und es läuft ein (Kinder)Film am Pool. Daher eher laut. Zimmer sind sauber, jedoch alt. Das Frühstück ist gar nicht zu empfehlen - es gibt nicht einmal Toast / Brot etc. und gerade einmal eine Frucht. Preis von $25 ist viel zu teuer."

"Super Stadthotel für fussläufige Unternehmungen. Man kann aber auch die cable car um die Ecke oder den Bus gegenüber nutzen. Das Zimmer war im 21. Stock und hatte eine tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt. Das Auto war sicher in der Parkgarage untergebracht; hat aber auch 77,00 EUR pro Nacht gekostet. "
