"This is a brand new hotel. Room, restaurants, service, everything was beyond expectations. Comfortable chairs on the beach and plenty of umbrellas. It's easy to avoid families and kids as there are restaurants for breakfast and lunch for adults only. A huge pool is for adults only and half of the beach is reserved for adults. On the downside, the loud music from 1pm at the adult pool. Not an issue with us as we were at the beach. Also, the beach is not great for walking as it is stuck between 2 piers. Impossible to access the northern part of Playa Mujeres as all access are private. Last, it can be difficult to reserve restaurants as you can take reservations for the whole stay. We were not able to try all of them. A special note to Oscar at the Mexican restaurant ... he is just amazing. He closed our menu and told us, let me chose for you. That was by far, our best dinners in any Mexican restaurants ever. We were lucky to get Oscar twice during the week. "
