« We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home. There was everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river out the back. Would definitely recommend and hope we will be back one day. »

« If you want to feel at home as soon as you step through the door then this cottage is for you, its homely its not a show home its just a home. We could not have picked a better cottage for our stay, its centrally place for shops beach restaurants the lot, yet its so peaceful and quiet. And the owner cares that you have a good stay, Just perfect. »

We walked directly from thr cottage onto the cliff path to walk to Robin Hoods Bay and were amazed to see an incredible pod of dolphins swimming past, which made our week! A cosy accommodation with all the creature comforts you would expect in a place with high standards. Spend a little time exploring the village of Grewelthorpe when you’re there and a meal at the nearby Crown Inn. Further afield explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with its quaint and picturesque villages and the beauty of the surrounding areas are stunning. »

« Easy to get to the beach as well as the shops/harbour so great location. Host communicated well and everything we needed was provided. Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside.
