This is a great place to visit in the Spring! There are very few people around, and you practically have the place to yourself to set up shop! Definitely try going around sunset, it has the perfect set up and you won't have to struggle with crowds. #BeachTips
Great castle that was used in the X-Men movies and Smallville.
Hatley castle, formerly the lavish estate of John and Laura Dunsmuir, now serves as an historical site and administrative building for Royal Roads University in the outskirts of Victoria, BC. Having also served a few decades as a military college, the castle is steeped in history and is a great place to spend an afternoon.
