We stayed in this cabin for a week of family skiing at Jay Peak. This is a very cozy place with picture windows and fantastic views of a wintry forest and mountains (the pristine side, not ski slopes) and sounds of a burbling stream (which was really burbling after a heavy rain). The temperature outside was around 10F most of out stay, but the cabin was very warm, including the warm tile floors throughout. It is meticulously kept. The gas fireplace is cozy and we enjoyed it every evening. The internet is fast enough for streaming TV. The mattresses are extremely comfortable. The host, Danny, lives in the same house on the upper floors, and he took care to plow/shovel the snow as soon as it fell - we were lucky enough to get a lot of snow and it was easy to get out in the morning. The Jay Peak ski resort is within a few minutes driving (but note the nearby roads are steep and not salted as much as some of us from warmer places are used to, so it's best to come with AWD in winter).
