« Alex was a great host. He was proactive when he noticed the temp dropping in the house and wanted to get it taken care of ASAP. We liked the temp at 67 so we weren’t concerned but Alex reached out to me directly to make sure we were okay. Beautiful little space. Perfect for my husband and I. It was adorable, clean, had plenty of coffee and options for coffee. The neighbor helps with the trash and was also super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this VRBO, and truly, any VRBO that Alex has....

« The owner was quick to respond and checked on us when the power went out. The alarm system was a bit of an annoyance. It chirped our whole stay, even after we replaced the battery in the smoke detector. To be fair we did not contact the owner with this complaint. We were so busy with funeral services that we just did not have the energy. Also the dishwasher is in need of some attention »

« Well, there are a few things to mention straight off: no washer or dryer onsite (somehow I missed this on the listing, but assumed a home in the suburbs would have it); the tv remote didn’t work - we downloaded the Roku app and that worked, but it should be replaced; the deadbolt on the front door is glitchy; we had some ants in the kitchen; and there are not any full length mirrors. « This is a very nice large sunny clean house with tons of space, tons of sunlight, beautiful location and view. It had a fish pond, a chicken coop and a large redwood tree on property. Absolutely beautiful. The one challenge is a 200-300 hike uphill to the house. There is no Parking near the house and if you have anyone with difficulty walking uphill, don't stay there. »
