We booked a 3-night stay and admittedly there was a slight comminication confusion with the property management company. After resolving that, we cannot say enough good things about our stay. Location is excellent and while not completely private, the yards are quite large and the neighbors are friendly. The river view from inside the main living room and the kitchen/dining room as well the expansive deck is simply awesome. You can sit and gaze at the river as well as the Wisconsin shore. Inside, the furnishigs are very homey and comfy. We will say that the inside is rather dark due to all the wood panneling but even then, the decor is simply a joy to exist in. The kitchen is fully equiped and stocked with necessities. Also, there is lots of room inside, with multiple rooms for just hanging out. The wifi internet access was stable, though a bit slow and limited pretty much to the indoors. It was sufficient for streaming, though. The only downside of this property - and this would be only for larger groups - is there is only the one bathroom. Regardless, this property is a gem and very well worth the cost. We hope to visit again in the future. PS: we had first booked another nearby property and fortunately changed to River Cabin. The other one was located in Camp Lacupols near Reeds Landing in a run-down mobile park and about 75 feet away from the railroad tracks. It even had a higher price point. So, do your due diligence and then stay at River Cabin.
