« A really lovely, individual and peaceful property which felt like a home from home. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Gorgeous views of Mey Castle from the coastal path. Lots of local walks and coast to enjoy. Dunnet head and beach only 10 minute drive away. The property had everything you could need from a well equipped kitchen to two lovely log burners, one with built in oven (there is also a normal oven in the property). A very helpful and kind owner. « Beautiful location, sunrises & views were breathtaking. Lucky enough to watch a dolphin & calf playing in the bay one day as well as lots of sea birds including the Gannets diving for their catch. Could be absolutely perfect but was slightly let down by cleanliness of the property & no double bed in any of the bedrooms. Despite that would definitely recommend & would stay again if holidaying in the area. »

« Everything was set on arrival. We had a nice stay in a very quiet neighbourhood. Maybe a bit to far if you would not have a car. The house could already do with an update. Especially the kitchen, or rather the equipment. The frying pan for example was really in a horrible state. Some people might like the electricity meter, but I found it a bit creepy, as if we were watched... Another item that clearly needs a change is the mattress. It was way to soft and we could feel the bottom of the bed....
