« This property was an easy walk to Te Anua Town Center. Lots of space available in this home and so good to have a washer and dryer and a sturdy drying rack. Ample towels and bedding. The beds were a bit hard for our tastes and the sofa a bit lumpy and difficult to get up from. Adding a larger mirror in the bathroom would be helpful or even a full length one somewhere in the house would be nice. Nice safe, secure, quiet location with ample windows and good shades for light control.wo »

« This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies). « We loved this quirky, personality-packed property. It's centrally located, spotlessly clean and has a brand new bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and I imagine it would be a lovely, cosy house in winter as there is an open fire. Highly recommended! »

« Located overlooking the lake, we enjoyed the view and the town. It was a great stay, clean, warm, with the necessities. Owners were very helpful and kind. »

« The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. « Te Anau was a cute little town. Enjoyed the downtown area for dinner. This house served as a great location for us to stay for spending 2 days in Milford Sound with our 2 kids and inlaws. Lawn and bushes needed upkeep. This made us a little worried when we pulled in. But the inside was spacious and comfortable. »

« The view was lovely. It was expensive, no internet, no heating unless you wanted to start a fire, a fire hazard in the bathroom in the form of a heater. It was hard wired and very old. Bare globes in overhead lighting and on the wall for reading. My top blanket had a huge blob of something and clearly needed washing. »

« Everything about this place was lovely. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed! Nice to have the outside furniture to sit at too as the weather was great on two days. A couple of things I felt the owner could consider was some kind of light over bathroom mirror as very dark for putting on makeup and a blind over bathroom window. Even though it’s opaque you feel exposed with light on. 😜 these are additions though and would only enhance an already lovely place. Would definitely stay here again »

« The property is located behind a residence so the lake is not visible from the house. The beds were comfortable with a split bedroom arrangement offering some privacy for parents with children. We did not use the stove but the fridge and microwave were in good working order. The location was convenient to restaurants and the grocery. There is only a washer, no dryer, so we did find a nearby laundromat. The bathroom is not near the bedrooms and I found that a bit inconvenient but there was...

« The property had the feel of an old family home that no-one had lived in for many, many years. The stove top wouldn't heat any of the pans, the oven smoked A LOT the one time we tried to use it probably because there were no baking dishes/pans so the inside was filthy, the pantry was full of expired food, and there were pots in the cupboard with an inch of water in the bottom. "Hôtel calme et chambres confortables. Une piscine agréable. Pas de luxe particulier, mais un bon endroit où loger à Te Anau Attention : les restaurants de la ville sont pris d’assaut ; si vous pouvez, n’attendez pas le jour même pour réserver une table"

"La chambre était propre et la literie était bonne, mais c'est tout. Tout le reste était vieux, l'hôtel, le resto, le wifi qui marché 1 fois sur 2 , pas de clim, les chambres étaient des fours. Le ventilateur sur pied ne suffisait pas pour toute la chambre."
