We have very positive feedback for the homeowner but problems with Vacasa. For the homeowner; the condo was a welcoming space with furnishings in good condition and attention to making it homey and aesthetic. To Vacasa; The thermostat and fireplace was broken when we arrived. There was no heat! We were not told in advance that there was no cell service. After driving a mile down the road we called to ask for help about the heat. The agent brushed the problem off by insisting it was a thrown circuit. We had already thought of that, but couldn't find a circuit breaker panel. We were told to look behind all of the artwork. This didn't solve the problem so they said that they would send someone out within 30 minutes. No one ever showed up and we had a miserable first night of freezing cold! The next day when the building super showed up, he said the closest Vacasa maintenance person was 2-3 hours away and Vacasa lied about them coming that night. The person fixed the heat (it wasn't the circuit breaker) and said the fireplace needed a new part so would not work properly. So we couldn't use it for our entire stay. The house should have some type of instruction sheet with wifi password, how to use the fireplace, etc. The agent became surly with me stating that the password was texted to me. Of course we couldn't open any text because we didn't have cell service or wifi! The microwave oven didn't work properly. There were dirty sheets left behind and used soap in the shower.
