« Having travelled over 250 miles we arrived at the apartment. Problem No.1 - The surrounding area was littered with dumped items, a sofa, beds, car parts etc, it looked like a junk yard. « Mixed review. Accommodation spotless and really comfy bed. Loved the self catering option. Layout of the venue a bit strange. Not a country club but more a sports plaza I would say. Restaurant lacked atmosphere. More like a service station but nice food. Could have done with a nice bar outside. There is a hub but it closes at 6 . Car park a bit far from reception »

« I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! « We had a lovely overnight stay at this inn. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided. We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value. Great breakfast provided in the morning. Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming. Full of character »
