The property apparently changed names twice prior to my stay. When we got there, we were very confused. The hotel appeared to be under renovation, but I never witnessed that. We got to our room to find no soap, no shampoo, no anything. I asked for an iron and ironing board, I was given an iron and was told that the last ironing board was given out. The iron it turns out didn't work anyway. I wore wrinkled clothes. Their coffee machine in the main dining area was a tiny store bought Keurig that she had to stand by and refill every two brews. The exit doors in the stairwells were wedged shut and the outside doors didn't lock. This was a humdinger of a stay. Everytime I went to the front desk to ask a question it was either empty or the person working there (no uniform) in the sweatshirt hoodie was asleep with his head on the desk. This is Starkville, so my standards are already pretty low, but not this low. We bought travel soaps from the gas station next door. I am not sure if our room was actually cleaned prior to our arrival, I suspect not. Oh, the toilet...I forgot. There were so many rust stains in the toilet that it leached into the water after every flush and made the water look like unflushed mess.
