We were very impressed with this house. The whole house has been updated. My entire family enjoyed the space with plenty of room to move around comfortably. The furniture was comfortable and clean. The kitchen had plenty of everything for to be able to cook and feed everyone.

Unfortunate, could be a great property
When we first entered the house an overwhelming sewer smell greeted us. We localized the smell as coming from the back bathroom - could have been just gasses building up from lack of water flow through the pipes for too long, or could have been something more serious. When I contacted the host they told us they were unaware of any problems, instructed us to open the windows, and overnight they dropped off some air fresheners outside. They did not offer to send out a plumber. It was during the time when it was 90-100 degrees outside, and the reason we had to book the house was because our air conditioner at home had broken suddenly and was being replaced, so the prospect of just having to open the windows was not exactly welcome news. We did do that, though, and closed off the back bathroom, as it seemed to be our only choice. It helped, but did not fix the problem, obviously. They also had a bug problem, which they obviously did know about because there was a big bottle of pesticide under the kitchen sink. We swept up probably 30 live and dead bugs over the 3 days we were there. Honestly not the biggest issue to me having grown up in an old farmhouse, but considering we were paying for a rental I felt we were doing a whole lot of work that we should not have had to do. It was a shame, because it was a cute house with nice bathrooms in a great location. Could have been a perfect stay if a little more attention were paid to the care of the place.

Cozy place close to the metro
Very happy with our stay here recently. I rented this house for a week during the Cherry blossom festival in Washington DC and was very happy with all that it provided. We were less than 5 minutes from the closest metro station which made going back and forth into DC so much easier than having to drive and find parking every day. The house had 4 queen sized beds so we had plenty of room for the whole family and all the amenities were covered. We ate out every night but if we had wanted to cook pans and dishware were provided. We brought our dogs as well and were happy that the backyard was fully fenced so we had no issues letting them out at night. Overall we were very happy with the house and would gladly rent it again next time we’re in the area.

Sewer Gas Leak!
This property had a bad sewer gas leak in 2 bathrooms and an adjacent closet that was not addressed while we were there. We told them right away, but no response. Sewer gases are toxic and only one bathroom was usable. The disposal was broken and full of stinking, rotting food when we arrived and it took 4 days for the property manager to get to it after many messages and VRBO trying to help us. The floors were dirty and the yard was a foot tall. The management company was very unresponsive and lied to us. We are still waiting for our deposit to be returned. Avoid this place and this management company!
