Superbe retraite privée de Sonoma

Élégant moderne du milieu du siècle situé au cœur du pays du vin dans le quartier exclusif de Sobre Vista. Notre propriété est proche de la ville de Glen Ellen et à 8 km de Sonoma Square. La maison se trouve sur plus de 2 hectares de paysage mature avec des chênes imposants et beaucoup de verdure. La maison elle-même est composée de 5 chambres (4 avec salle de bains et la 5ème avec une salle de bains dans le couloir) avec une chambre supplémentaire pour 2 personnes. Une chambre est hors du maître, mais a une entrée privée depuis la terrasse du jardin. De plus, la maison a plusieurs puits de lumière, murs de fenêtres, 2 cheminées en pierre, salon, salle à manger formelle, grande salle familiale, cuisine-salle à manger et 5. 5 salles de bain. L'espace extérieur est entouré de jardins avec de nombreux sièges et restaurants en plein air. Nous avons une piscine chauffée à l'énergie solaire (de mai à octobre) et un bain à remous (toute l'année) pour que tous les âges puissent se détendre. Savourez un verre après le dîner ou offrez-vous des s'mores au coin du feu. La propriété offre des espaces à la fois pour une retraite tranquille et des moments de convivialité et est idéale pour les réunions de famille et d'amis et les retraites d'entreprise. Nous avons des chevaux qui broutent joyeusement dans notre corail et vivent dans notre grange, et sont bien pris en charge par leurs propriétaires. Il y a des arbres fruitiers à déguster autour de la propriété - de délicieuses pommes, pêches et plus, en saison. Et à quelques minutes de la maison se trouvent de nombreux établissements vinicoles et restaurants si vous voulez vous détendre au bord de la piscine chauffée à l'énergie solaire ou de notre grand bain à remous.
** Veuillez noter que les lois sur les locations de vacances dans le comté de Sonoma appliquent strictement les heures tranquilles qui commencent à 22 h et se terminent à 7 h tous les jours. Veuillez respecter cette loi afin de ne pas perdre notre permis de location de vacances. Il y a aussi un parking maximum de 4 voitures autorisé sur la propriété.

Perfect home for relaxing and enjoying your people in wine country
Great home with loads of amenities for our adult family. Really loved the sprawling ranch with lots of space to spread out, yet plenty of areas for us to gather and enjoy one another. The common areas were cozy, and gave us the opportunity to connect, eat together, play games, and lounge, while the outdoor spaces were fun too. Pickleball on the drive was a family favorite, as was the hot tub. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking and we shared an awesome Thanksgiving meal. Just the right distance between Sonoma and Glen Ellen so we didn’t feel the need to always be in town, and could decompress a bit at home. Thanks for sharing this wonderful home!

Great house for Entertaining
This house was perfect for our friend group of 5 couples - everyone had a bed and bath. Just enough space to be together, yet have some privacy. The location worked well for us since we visited vineyards and did a day trip to San Francisco. The house was well stocked. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool, too.

We all remarked what a lovely home this was. For the guests who needed more time alone to recoup the bedrooms are spaced out to provide that. For the guests that preferred to party and play the pool and outdoor space was wonderful. The owners responded between 1-24 hours for each question and on the day that our family gathered for a meal they came over and set up speakers for our event. Thank you for this stay

OMG I cannot say enough good things about this house. Absolutely amazing property. Stunningly beautiful inside and out. One of the most relaxing, fun vacations I’ve ever been on. Our girls group stayed in this lovely home and enjoyed the surrounding activities of e-biking the vineyards & wine tasting, riding scooters through the vineyards, & wine tasting, Going on a hot air balloon ride….Every evening we thoroughly enjoyed laying around that amazing pool. This property is just absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back. Beautifully decorated inside and out. So relaxing and enjoyable. LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!

We booked this house for my 40th birthday. We had 5 couples and a single person and everyone had their own bed and bathroom. The kitchen had everything you needed. The pool and hot tub was amazing! We all couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the house was! Highly recommend getting tacos, chips and guacamole at the little Rancho market nearby and eating them by the pool one night! We all would absolutely book this house again!

Perfect property for a large group!
We had 9 adults and 2 toddlers, so we needed a lot of space — and the house did not disappoint. Huge living/dining/kitchen spaces; lots of outdoor seating options; and 5 bedrooms + a “bonus” bedroom. The pool and hot tub were such fun amenities. The owners were really responsive and helpful. We loved our time here!

Spacious, great for our group of 11 friends. The property could use updates. We had challenges with the pool cover and fire pit. The landscaping must have been stunning in its day but it’s a bit overgrown. The road is very busy so walking from the house wasn’t a good option. With that said, we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

We are so appreciative for everything Anne and Paul did to make our stay priceless as our son married his forever partner as the two families spent the event together joining as one big family! Thank you! The home and grounds were perfect for the ten of us; and the bride and groom couldn’t have been happier! Paul and Anne were immediately responsive to our needs when we had a couple of blow dryers that didn’t work and needed replacing for the big event. Otherwise, the home was well-supplied, clean, and beautiful. We highly recommend this lovely stay!

Outstanding Oasis
Spacious , inside and out! Even with constant rain, we loved looking outside from the roaring fireplace, entertaining family with 2 catered meals, soaking in the hot tub, and privacy for quiet reading in the MANY beautiful spaces in this house! Privacy abounds even with 8 people. Well equipped - dinner for 16 with plenty of dishes, glasses and serving pieces. Flexible placement of furniture for formal meals or casual buffet. Couldn’t have been more pleased! The house could use a fine tuning (light bulbs burned out, ovens running cool and need adjusting) but truly we were all so pleased! The grounds are lush but with the constant rain we didn’t get outside much. Looks like lots of toys and games for better weather. We’d come back (after the rains) again. Hostess/owner very communicative and responsive.

Perfect Property for a Big Family!
My family and I travel to the Napa/Sonoma area each year for Thanksgiving week. We have a large group with multiple small families. This property could not have been more perfect for our annual trip! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal. The amount of space and common areas left ample room for our group to gather for meals, but also have space to spread out. The outdoor areas also had plenty of seating areas & parking. Since we visited in late November, we didn’t use the pool or hot tub but have already discussed coming back in the summer to get full use of the amenities. Even though the property is not directly in downtown Sonoma, its location was close enough to access wineries and activities in Sonoma as well as locations north of the valley. Great experience!!

A Peaceful, Stunning Retreat Minutes From All Sonoma Has To Offer
It is hard for photos to do this stunning property justice! Just minutes from incredible wineries and Sonoma Plaza, this property offers guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy peaceful wine country luxury while remaining close enough to all of the Sonoma highlights for exploring. The house comfortably sleeps larger groups of friends and its thoughtful amenities, fully stocked kitchen, and breathtaking yard and living + dining spaces make for an incredibly welcoming setting to gather and enjoy time together. The VRBO owners are very communicative and informative. This property is an absolute gem and my friends and I are so grateful for the opportunity to stay!

Beautiful Retreat in Sonoma
This property was more beautiful than we could have imagined! Everything was spacious and well designed for outdoor or indoor living. My o my regret was not being able to spend more time at the property as it was our daughter’s wedding weekend so we were away most of our time in Sonoma. But we all agreed that it was the perfect retreat!

Truly beautiful property that looked even better than the photos. The rooms are huge with plenty of space for everyone in our party. The pool is also huge, perfect temperature and so wonderful to just enjoy. We saw deer walk through the property during our stay, loads of birds that we enjoyed listening to and twinkling stars at night to view from the hot tub. Will definitely rent this lovely house again if we have the chance to visit the area again. Wonderful place to just relax and/or return to at the end of a day of visiting wineries.

Great vacation house!
Everything was better than expected. The rooms are huge including the bedrooms. The bedrooms are away from the entertaining areas so are quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. The living rooms are comfortable. Eating areas for kids and adults. There's a small room with a trundle bed that wasn't pictured but was perfect for kids. The pool was wonderful. There was a problem with the pool cover but the owner was on top of it and got it worked out. The long driveway was also a bonus with small children and their bikes and scooters - many hours spent out there. The location was perfect - in the country but close to Glen Ellen and Sonoma and their shops and tons of wineries. Fabulous stay - all 4 families were happy!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The house was very spacious and comfortable and well located. Had a minor issue the first night (empty propane tank in the BBQ and we had planned on cooking that night) and the property manager was unreachable, however the owner (Ann Sipes) was very responsive and it was handled the next day. Would definitely recommend.
