« 3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again. »

« Quirky barn, rural, walking distance to beautiful restaurants in Bank St. Hosts are lovely and very responsive. Loads of old memorabilia. Bedrooms are upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Great garden and surrounds. »

« The house space and bedrooms was excellent.. under the bbq was absolutely disgusting.. never been cleanedThere were not enough knives for the 7 adults ( we bought some and left them there)The pool and tennis court was fantasticI had a query after we left and no one has bothered to return my query.. great little spot »

« Such a great stay at this beautiful property. Three families have enjoyed staying here for the second year in a row. So spacious and has so many comforts for all of us. We loved the fire pits, the waterfront and kids had a ball in the bunkhouse. Thanks for having us, hope to stay again next year. »

« We came for a fishing weekend.The location and facilities of the house were good and accommodating.The kids loved the Canoe and the kayak. Our only comment was that the kitchen is fairly small and can be better equipped. »

« The Fig House was very comfortable and included everything we needed. It was a short walk from the main street of Yea. We had a most enjoyable time there. »

« Super happy with our stay at the village green! The house was beautifully set up and perfect for our group. We wanted find a space that was seclusive with scenery to explore and do activities whilst also have time to relax by the fire. All beds and rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen amenities was plenty and great spot for hikes and walks and a fun hedge maze out back. Highly recommend! »

« Great property.. enough space for 3 couples and 4 children. Pool was excellent, two fridges was handy for us, house was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the view of the river from the house and enjoyed a few drinks and food on the table and chairs under the shady trees.. beautiful countryside. Close to Melbourne but feels like you’re far away! (In a good way!) The owners were responsive and able to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend. Thanks for the stay. »

« We had a fantastic stay at this country retreat. From the moment we booked Chez was a gracious and attentive host, providing everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property itself was beautifully presented with four big queen rooms, open fires, an amazing outdoor entertaining area and large central bench style kitchen. « I arrived late after dark and the destination / address listed was not where my confirmation said - despite a new GPS in a new Ford Ranger then google maps on my phone - I simply could not find the place. Signage needs to be improved off the main road- I actually can’t say if the place actually exists! I wouldn’t mind a refund or a credit to stay another time. I had to drive 40 Km away to get into a motel to get to my son at Puckapunyal the next day for a March out. Really disappointed 😢 »

« Overall the place was nice for a tiny home. It was a bit disappointing that there was a property so close to the accomodation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I would also suggest to the owner to put the Jiffy fire lighters outside as the accomodation smelt like fuel when we arrived. Some of the electrics were not working as well. Be prepared to cut up all of your firewood into tiny slithers as that is all that you will manage to fit into the fireplace. All in all a pretty...
