„The night we endured was terrible, it smelt of faeces all night, loads of people coming in and out shouting, it sounded like someone tried getting in our door around midnight, the shower was contaminated, I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t a case of legionella within the water, the bed was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel secure, the sink had no plug, and Unknown marks left on walls, 1/10 would not recommend “

„My room was very clean, tea and coffee facilities and lovely clean towels , the shower was hot I only went to breakfast the once due work commitments but for a continental breakfast there was plenty , the coffee was delicious , no noise from the pub under the rooms would definitely return and recommend. “

„Die Überprüfung des Bades wäre notwendig. Die Duschen sind in keinem guten Zustand. Das Zimmer selbst ist in Ordnung. Ausgesprochen gut ist die freundliche und kompetente Bedienung im Restaurant..Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Aussenanlagen des Hotels sind sehr gut auch die Parkmöglichkeiten. “

„We had a lovely stay, the hotel was wonderful and had a beautiful walled garden. We booked a garden room which had its own patio/seating area which over looked the garden and was especially nice as we had good weather. bed very comfy. Breakfast plentiful. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but can recommend the local pub, The Papermills, food was outstanding. „The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area.“

„Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! “

„Room was clean and King Size bed was comfortable. Water pressure in sink was slow until I worked out how to increase it. Full English breakfast was huge and one of the best I have had in any B & B or hotel. Located in a quiet rural village and convenient for Rutland Water.“
