Our family of 7 needed a place to stay near Seattle while refinishing our hardwood floors at our home. With virtual schooling, we needed a place with a lot of space, without ideally breaking the bank. This place ended up being perfect for our family, especially with all the outside smoke during the 4 days of our stay. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, and there was plenty of space for our kids to spread out and do their virtual schooling. The internet speed was great (no issues for our kids). The kitchen was very nice also, with plenty of items to cook with. We did not feel cramped inside the space, which was nice since we ended up spending 99% of our time inside the home with all the smoke outside.
Starla was very responsive to any questions we had. All that being said, I do have a few areas for comment/improvement - mostly minor:
- The listing describes the unit as a "suite", and the title says "Spacious house..." I would have preferred if the listing could have been more clear that the unit was an in-law unit with the owners living on the 2nd floor.
- We had a few issues with the parking on the street (had to move our car a couple of times).
- The home was mostly very clean when we arrived. But, there were a few items that could've been cleaner. The stow-away bed had crumbs on it when we pulled it out. The high-chair had crumbs and cheerios on it, so we didn't use it. One of the sheets had a fairly large fluid stain on it. Small items in the big scheme of things.
- Beds were a bit "bouncy" for our taste. (This is a personal preference thing.)
- The garage door is loud, so when the owner opened/closed it either early in the morning or later in the evening, we could hear it clearly in two of the bedrooms.
Again, the items noted above were minor details for us. Overall, we had a very good experience with the place, and we would absolutely stay here again if we're in a similar situation.
