I shared the following with the owner privately, but I never got a response.
Our stay was good. The only hassle was the outside door lock, and that didn't amount to anything, because you responded so quickly.
I do have some safety concerns:
1. The stairs to the backyard yard really need a handrail. If someone has a walking disability or even just a limp, they would be at risk of falling. I broke my ankle in June, and stairs were very scary for me.
2. The bedroom to the right as you enter the apartment does not have an alternate egress. This would be a problem if there was a fire in the kitchen or living room. There appears to be a door to go upstairs, but it appeared to be locked.
3. The bedroom by the bathroom only has one electrical outlet, which I believe is a violation of the national electrical code. It makes me wonder how the apartment passed a government inspection, and if there are any more violations hiding in there.
