« We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location. »

« 5 stars plus. Perfect for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving together. The home was very comfortable and very well appointed. The surrounding property was picturesque. I absolutely loved having hiking right out the back door. Loved this property and being able to bring our corgi was a huge bonus. and will return. »

« We had a great time. The house was perfect for us with the fireplace being the cherry on top. It created a cozy space making it hard to want to go outside and brave the cold. The views on the property were great and worth exploring. »

« The location is great for reaching the ski slopes and the restaurants. The farm house was quiet and peaceful. Great response from the host when we accidentally locked out the front door. We saw lots of deer and turkeys. »

« 6 of us girls got together to celebrate a birthday! Everything from the house to location was great! Very close to breweries and Ciderys! Host was great and house was ADORABLE! 10/10 would recommend the hen house! Kitchen had all utensils needed and bedrooms came with clean beds with sheets and extra blankets! Thanks for giving me and my friends a awesome weekend! »

« I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was! The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. The house was on a stunning secluded piece of land outside Charlottesville and offered incredible views. The house was very well appointed and they certainly thought of everything. « The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The property was clean, well stocked with towels and had very nice linens on the beds. « We rented the home for its proximity to Wintergreen for a quick skiing trip,and it was perfect. A cozy older home with a cabin like feel. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Owners were great, get back to you quickly if you have questions. Definitely rent again if we come back to the area. »

« This property is pretty expensive for a one-person weekend retreat, and I was worried I would regret it. I didn't--not one little bit. The house is so incredibly comfortable and spotless and easy. And the sauna is truly incredible. I used it a LOT. The view is lovely as well, and it's an easy drive to some great hikes. I highly recommend this place. »
