« The apartment is charming, atop the watchtower in a restored mill, & the main living-room/kitchen is lovely, with sloping ceilings, dormer windows & huge fridge & plenty of seating. The bedrooms are pleasant, especially the main one, with lovely views across the bay to Holy Island. The kitchen is reasonably well-stocked. However, no-one bothered to turn on the heating before we arrived (nor leave any sort of welcome tray, never mind anything Xmassy) so we arrived to stone-coldness. We had to...

« Flat is comfy, clean and well equipped. Wonderful view of the sea from the balcony and 2 minutes to the beach where you can walk all the way to Bamburgh at low tide. Just a few minutes to all the amenities of seahouses but the location itself is quiet and peaceful. »

« We enjoyed our stay. Moira the owner was very helpful and went out of her way to collect us from the train station when our arrival was delayed. The apartment was convenient for catching buses for days out. The welcome tray was appreciated and the apartment had all the facilities we needed for our stay. We would stay again. »

« This property has been obviously set up for rentals w/o anybody trying to live there. For example, the light in the bathroom is super bright and motion activated -- imagine going there at night... and the sensor doesn't "see" the shower, so the light goes off just as you've shampooed your head. The kitchen isn't equipped for cooking (no functional knives, only one pan and a huge one at that, some drawers cannot open because they run into handles of others, no dish soap provided and exactly one...
