« I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. « This was the perfect place for a quick mid-week getaway for my son and I (and our dog). Location was great. I had never been to Dillon Beach but now that I know how peaceful and serene it is, we will be back.The house was adorable. « Pros:-Excellent access to a great beach (Upton Beach).-Bed was comfortable, although seemed small for a queen.-Cottage was clean, but did have a musty smell.-Good communication.Cons:-Very cold with only space heaters provided, which we weren't comfortable running while we slept.
