Absolutely adorable home! Clean, spacious and comfy!
We had a small issue with a mold filled coffee pot that the maid overlooked, no big deal. I let them know. Didn’t ask for anything in return.
The main issue we had is that the power went out at 4:30am this morning. The house got to 40°, so I contacted Vacasa at 7:15am to ask if they could check the power company and see what time it was scheduled to come back on since we had paid for late checkout. They told me there was no power outage and we had most likely thrown a breaker. The whole street was out so CLEARLY not our fault. I contacted Entergy myself and was told it would come back on at 9:30. When it didn’t, we headed home. I requested a refund for the late checkout fee, and was told that I should have “controlled what time we leave and left before 10, because the power outage wasn’t their fault”... I know that. I’m an adult. We were gone before 10:30. It wasn’t exactly planned since we paid to stay late. Keep your $20.
Just avoid the management texting app if you want actual help. Whoever runs it is rude and doesn’t have time for you.
Would I recommend the house to friends? Yes! Would I recommend Vacasa? No.
