« The staff were great and room 22 was perfect with a large bed and plenty of space. We ate at the hotel on our second night and the food was tasty and sufficient. However one meal came out cold and had to be reheated. Our waitress did give us a discount for this. On our last morning there was no water, but not the hotel’s fault as a main had burst. Overall a very nice experience. »

« Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Excellent...

« Lovely pub! Stayed for a night while in the area and couldn't fault it. Food was really nice and plenty of it and good value. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was pleasant enough and quiet and clean. Pub was big with a pool table and darts and is dog friendly. Plenty of parking and even the added bonus of EV charging in the car park if you need it. Happily stay here again if we're ever back in the area! »
