« La maison est vraiment très agréable. Le terrain est immense et la piscine est en contrebas ce qui est très pratique pour la surveillance des tous petits. La maison est très bien équipée, la literie est bonne. Seul bémol : une connexion wifi limitée et un barbecue inutilisable à changer pour les prochains locataires. Enfin, la terrasse est superbe. Nous y avons passé beaucoup de temps pour s'abriter de la chaleur ou de la pluie. »

« We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location »

« Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, inbesondere die grosse Terasse (Gli Gnomi), die beiden Pools und die Nähe zum schönen Spoleto (10 Min. zum Parkplatz Posterna, Rolltreppe). Auch die beiden Schlafzimmer mit jeweils Bad recht komfortabel. Die Klimaanlage ist allerdings nur im Wohnraum. Leider ist das Haus von Gli Gnomi sehr hellhörig bzgl. oberer Wohnung, wir hatten das große Pech, schreiendes Baby und nicht zeitumgestellte Gäste aus dem dem Osten über uns zu haben, daher Lärm bereits vor...

« While this property looks pretty in the online photos, in reality it was one nightmare after the other. First, there was significant smell of gas in the kitchen; even open windows and doors could not clear the smell. It was never fixed over our 2-week stay. The kitchen was equipped and appliances were broken or worn out. My husband spent a hour scrubbing the mold out of the bottom of the dishwasher. "In Ordnung für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte etwas aufgefrischt werden, alles in allem aber gut, das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig und das Bett bequem. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl. Check-In und Check-Out unkompliziert."

Villa with nice pool, good atmosphere and a lot of potential.

"We had a really nice time in Umbria. The villa has a great garden, wonderfull pool, amazing patio and a nice atmosphere. The surroundings and little towns near by are breathtaking...also the nearby lake and waterfalls. The villa would be absolutely amazing and has a lot of potential. However, you can tell it it's not really been taken care of for some time. The kitchen is old and not really full equipped or just with old random stuff. I have the feeling that the bathrooms could be renewed, they are very small and not really inviting. The furniture in the villa seems like put together from all kind of places and some stuff is broken, which is really a pitty because some pieces are really beautiful vitage pieces. The frist thing we did is clean up the pool area (it was messy), invest in some light bulbs (the light inside is like at the dentist) and also some small stuff for the kitchen. However the shower next to the pool didn't work, after we reported it, it got exchanged on the next day and now there is a very fancy nice pool shower. :) The communication with the owner was very easy and he always responded to our needs, questions and suggestions. Thank you very much. All in all i think it's a amazing place that needs a bit work and innovations to it and maybe a better wifi. After we redecorated a bit, we felt good and had a good, easy good time."

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the people there who has solved the problem with the first room they gave us in less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, the position is strategic if you need a staying close to the A1. We will come back soon!"
