WE HAVE BEEN STAYING AT VARIOUS HERON HARBOUR CONDOS FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS AND LOVE THE AREA. WE HAVE STAYED AT BAYWATCH, HARBOUR CLUB, SANCTUARY AND MORE. MOSTLY GOOD EXPERIENCES. HOWEVER IN THE LAST FEW YEARS WE HAVE WALKED INTO NOT YET CLEANED CONDOS RENTED FROM COLDWELL BANKER. THE AGENTS DID NOT SEEN TO CARE ABOUT THAT - I GUESS THEY ALREADY GOT THEIR COMMISSIONS. AFTER CHECKING IN AFTER THREE O'CLOCK TO FIND THE CONDO NOT CLEANED IS VERY DISAPPOINTING - AFTER TRAVELING FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS TO GET THERE. THEIR EXCUSE FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS HAS BEEN THEY JUST CANT FIND THE HELP - WE THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM - THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD NOT RENT OUT THE CONDOS. THIS YEAR IN PICKING MY MY PACKAGE FROM THE AGENT I ASKED IF THE CONDO WAS CLEAN - AND HER RESPONSE TO ME WAS IT SHOULD BE. THE CONVERSATION WAS A BIT CONTENTOUS FROM THERE. SHE GAVE ME EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK WHY IT MAY NOT BE CLEANED AFTER MY CHECK IN AND AFTER THREE OCLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON. SHE HAD SOME ATTITUDE WHICH I DID NOT APPRECIATE AFTER PAYING MORE THAN $2600 FOR THE WEEK. I HAVE NOT HAD THIS PROBLEM IN CAPE MAY, BELMAR AND OTHER AREAS WE RENT FOR THE SUMMER. WHY WERE THEY ABLE TO GET THEIR RENTALS CLEANED??? SHE DID NOT SEEM TO CARE. SO I FINALLY TOLD HER THAT I AM SURE THAT IF IT WERE HER FAMILY ENTERING A DIRTY CONDO THAT SHE JUST SAVED AND PAID FOR I DON'T THINK SHE WOULD BE TOO HAPPY ABOUT IT. HER ATTITUDE NEEDED AN ADJUSTMENT - AS SO MANY DO. BUT WITH THAT SAID AND DONE - THE CONDO WAS CLEAN, WE HAD A GREAT WEEK AND HOPEFULLY YOUR COMPANY CONTINUES TO DO A BETTER JOB IN THIS AREA THAN CB VOCATIONS DID. AND JUST AS AN ASIDE, WHEN WE RENTED TWO YEARS AGO - 2020 - THE SUMMER OF COVID - I ASKED THE AGENT IF THE POOL WAS OPEN SINCE WE HAD KIDS WITH US AND THERE WAS NOT MUCH TO DO - SHE TOLD US NO. IF IT WASN'T FOR A MAN COMING OUT THE THE POOL AREA WITH A TOWEL I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOW THE POOLS WERE OPEN. WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS WITH YOU ON VACATION, YOU NEED OPTIONS AND THINGS TO DO. HER LAZINESS WAS NOT APPRECIATED. SO, HOPEFULLY YOU EVEN READ THIS EMAIL AND MAKE SOME CHANGES. BUT THIS YEAR WE DID FINE. THANKS, CATHERINE LEDWITH
