« The house was just what I needed. I Would recommend to others. Unfortunately, the entire time I was only there for a few hours to sleep only, as it was a photographer trip. However, what I can say is that it’s cozy, great bed, all the amenities you need (cookware, BBQ) nicely set back on the property for privacy. The host was great! She was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. I hope to go back with hubby but next time spend more time and relax there. »

« We had the pleasure of staying at Jakes cabin fot 1 night. The moment we drove up we were able to see turkeys and deer! The property is beautiful and peaceful. We can't wait to go back. »

« Nice 3 bedrooms cottage with front porch, , BBQ at the back , outside fire pit, nice sauna , tire swing, hiking trail, 5 min car to a nice sand beach with playground , free wood for fire pit…. Nice big shower in the bathroom and air conditioning unit in the central space. Adam respond fast to our inquiries. »

« I booked the house to visit family in the area. It was a great choice for my adult children to be able to stay with us all in one place. The location was great for where I needed to be. The place was very clean! The host was very easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend! »

« Stayed with my family - my husband and I and our two 20 something daughters, to do some fall hiking. Lovely place, cozy and well appointed. Great communication with the owner - will book this great spot again. »

« We enjoyed a quiet few days away to enjoy the winter scenery. Very clean and as described in the listing/photos. Remember to memorize the door code if you leave the doors locked when you hit the hot tub, like they warn (good thing one of us had a decent memory!). Nice and close to Huntsville, and lots of activity nearby with the ski hill. »

« Our family enjoyed a relaxing extended weekend here. Close to Bracebridge shops and lovely long hiking trails. »

« We had an excellent time staying in this cottage. There was enough space for everyone. on a beautiful shallow lake, great for young kids. Walking distance into downtown Sundridge with a beach, restaurants, shops, grocery store and a fresh water spring close by to refill drinking water. We would definitely stay again. Only downside was having to take our garbage with us in the end and we were not provided a ticket from the host to drop off at the local dump. Otherwise excellent place for families...

« Great location to serve as a home base for day trips in the Algoma district. House was clean and host provided several nice welcome gifts. Aubrey Falls on the Mississagi River and Boom Camp trails in Blind River were great. »

« The place was great and worked very well for us. We especially appreciated two things: 1) that the owner cleared the massive snowfall so quickly and thoroughly; and 2) that we could control the temperature in each room.My only suggestion for improvement would be more lighting in living room, but this is a very small point. »

« Cottage is even better than the pictures. Fabulous location with lots of parking. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. We all enjoyed heated floors in bathroom as despite it just being October it was cool and we even saw some snow »

« We had an amazing weekend! It was a friends gathering of expats (Canadian, French, Dutch, German and Austrian) and the Cottage exceeded our expectations.And I've to tell you, it's not easy to please us all. Thanks Davinia and Micheal for letting us stay in your wonderful place!!! We would love to come back! »

« This is our second stay at this resort. We like this time of year because it is quieter. These are cottages built likely in the 50s, but they have been nicely updated and are clean and comfortable. They provide wood-burning fireplaces, as well as provide the wood, a workable kitchen with full electric stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven. Good service from the staff and quick communications. Recommended. »

« The property was as advertised. Great dock and water. Very nice cottage. Great bbq (a bellwether for a good cottage). Owner followed up with me, rather than the other way around. Easy check in and check out. Not a bad thing to say. »
