Hideaway Heaven est une maison de front de mer calme et paisible. Profitez de la vie au lac dans cette maison récemment rénovée de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain pouvant accueillir 9 personnes. Bord de l'eau sur une crique tranquille au large de Contrary Creek et au milieu du lac, idéal pour s'amuser en été avec des amis et la famille ou un week-end tranquille en basse saison. Pratique pour Food Lion épicerie et restaurants. Dock accueillera des bateaux jusqu'à 23 pieds de longueur et le lancement communautaire du bateau est disponible pour l'utilisation. Chambre à coucher principale a un lit king, la deuxième chambre a un lit queen, et la troisième chambre a un lit queen et une double couchette double. Draps et serviettes fournis. Le bain principal a une baignoire et une douche complète; Le deuxième bain a une combinaison baignoire / douche. Home a toutes les commodités: cuisine entièrement équipée, wifi, 3 téléviseurs (Direct TV) avec lecteur DVD / magnétoscope, laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur et spa à 5 personnes! Promenez-vous facilement à l'eau soit sur de beaux escaliers en pierre, soit sur un chemin pavé. Les marches de pierre dans l'eau ou l'échelle de quai. La location comprend 3 kayaks (un à deux). Profitez du foyer tout en faisant des souvenirs et en famille!Trois jours de location en location le Memorial Day au Labor Day. Deux jours minimums le reste de l'année. Réduction disponible pour les locations à la semaine ou plus. Les chiens ont également considéré.

Perfect little spot for our family to spend a few days
Great location in a cool cove, was a nice reprieve from the 90 degree temps. Plenty of water toys to play with. The cleaners could have been a little more thorough. But we enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider renting the property again.

One of the better house rentals we have stayed at.
A very nice and clean, spacious house and property. Unfortunately our recent May 2nd - 5th stay was plagued with poor, spotty rainy weather except for the arrival night so we didn't get to utilize all of the of outdoor features associated with the property. Having firewood available for the firepit was a nice convenience. We definitely would consider staying there again. Please note to be careful walking on the outside stone pathways, some become a little slippery when wet.

Wonderful Anniversary Weekend Getaway!
My husband and I had a quick weekend getaway to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We enjoyed our stay and everything that the property had to offer, that we ended up staying in and not venturing out to explore very much. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. Some notes that I think will assist with anyone and their future stay. If you decide to bring your own kayaks, be prepared. The paved path down the hill to the dock is quite steep and there is a chain blocking it so you cannot use your vehicle. Thankfully we had our cart with us to assist in the hauling down to the water and back up to our truck at the end of our trip. We have AT&T cell phone service out of WV and our service was definitely sketchy, but thankfully the house had internet so we could stay in contact with our children. Food Lion is a short drive away and we highly recommend Chef Lee in the same plaza. There are plenty of towels, but only 2 "beach towels". The walk back up to the house was chilly so you may want to bring along larger towels or a robe. We most definitely will keep this place on our list of places we would like to return to. Thank you for being wonderful hosts and offering your wonderful home up for guests.

Great time
We had a great time at the lake! House is small but clean, well kept, well stocked and on a quiet street. (It’s a great street for walking dogs- grass on both street sides that’s not all overgrown weeds). Communication with the owner was a breeze- super responsive! It’s also nice when towels and linens are provided! Best of all it’s affordable for one family, which is hard to find at the lake nowadays. The cove is very narrow, so kind of difficult to navigate a boat in and out. And the water in the cove isn’t great for swimming around- it’s very shallow and the bottom is yucky/slimy/smelly leaves/seaweed that your feet sink into. So we just swam a bit further out each time to float and watch the boat traffic. Also the temp gauge on the hot tub doesn’t seem right so it was hard to get a good temp there. All in all a great trip! Ate out at Callie Opie’s and Asian Cafe, played putt putt and got icecream at Tim’s marina, rented jet skis and a boat.

Ok if you don't mind no cell or WiFi
The surroundings are stunning. The place is clean, but it has a few quirks. First, the Wi-Fi went out the first night that we were there and it never came back. We were going to use our phones to pair with the TV but there was no cell service either!! We had to drive 4 miles to get service. The hot tub isn't hot. It's a lukewarm bath at best. You have to make your own bed and you need to strip the beds before you leave. You also have to take your own garbage with you-yuck! The sofa and the bed are really uncomfortable. If you want a place to just be out doors and you don't care about all the other stuff I mentioned than it's five stars, otherwise, I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Great property
Stayed here for a birthday weekend with friends and this property made it a great time for all. It is much larger than appears in photos with an ideal open layout. Enjoyed the large kitchen and the extra amenities as described in the listing. The house was clean, well stocked and felt comfortable and homey. We rented a pontoon from Sturgeon Creek Marina as recommended by the owner and boats have been recently refurbished and the staff was friendly. The owners were communicative and even offered to let us check in early at the beginning of the stay. Would definitely book here again for a return trip to Lake Anna!

Great house - exactly as described
Property was great. Owner communicated info with many details well prior to check-in so everything (including bringing our boat) was simple. Hot tub was working perfectly and clean, as was house. We didn't use the fire pit but did use the kayaks - again, everything just as described. Had everything we needed from towels to hand soap etc. Only thing that could have been improved was the weather!
