We chose the tiny house for the adventure, and it gave us lots of laughs - especially as our 74 year old friend ascended to one of the two lofts! This little gem has one tiny bedroom that works for people who are grandparents, and it would be fine for traveling with kids for whom the the ladder to one loft and VERY narrow and steep stairs to the other would pose no problem. The lofts are fine for sleeping, but the slope of the roof makes it necessary to descend once you are awake. There's a cozy living space and a cute little kitchen with a 2 burner stove, a mini-fridge, and a table that seats 4 people comfortably. It was too cold to sit on the little porch, but that's available in nice weather. Tonya was welcoming, and we could watch a movie from our Netflix account. There's no cable tv. For one night we had fun staying up late and talking and then falling into bed. You might want ear plugs - there was a dog nearby that barked all night long. I'm sure that's not always the case, but it helps to be prepared. Staying in this tiny house is an adventure, and it works for a short stay, but I think it's best for two adults and two kids who are old enough not to be in danger while getting to the lofts or sleeping there. We are glad we decided on something out of the ordinary for our night in Mena on the way to Crystal Bridges.
