The house is gorgeous. There are four bunks/twin beds, two kings, and a queen. The two king rooms have their own bathrooms, and the bunk room and queen share a hall bath.
There weren’t many towels. Tons of blankets and pillows, but we had to search for enough towels for our group of nine hockey players.
The laundry room is set up for a group of athletes or outdoor enthusiasts. There’s a washer and dryer (the dryer didn’t dry well, even though the lint trap was clean), drying racks, fans, hooks, a bench, and a shower stall.
The kitchen was big enough for everyone. There was a nice fireplace in the great room and wood enough for fires. There are a lot of games and we discovered new games to play together.
There’s no TV, and no blinds on the windows. Generally that’s not a problem, but there’s a half bath with a window to the front that has no blinds. So if you have friends coming and going from the driveway, it’s best to go to one of the other restrooms. We also had someone who woke with the light, so he didn’t like the lack of blinds.
The listing says there’s a hot tub “steps away”. It’s quite a few steps, at just over a half mile, at the inn’s main building. We ended up not using it.
There was enough dish ware for all of us, and the house was really well set up for a group of nine. We never felt crushed together, and had a great time.
We’d definitely use this for our a Hockey House in the future.
