Amazing getaway
We absolutely loved everything about this enchanting property. The home is spacious and decorated beautifully. The neighborhood is very tranquil and serene. Carol and Rich are attentive hosts and answered all questions promptly. The sunsets are a perfect ending after a day of fishing off the dock. This house is very unique and one of the best rentals we have stayed at.

spring break getaway
We stayed here for spring break with my wife and two kids. The house was very clean and looked even better than the pictures. The kids loved the hammock and stayed on it for most of the trip. We brought our boat and there was plenty of parking which was a plus. The owners where very nice and easy to get a hold of for any questions we had. The only draw back was we caught fish and there is literally no where close to there to clean them, they don't want you cleaning them there, which I understand and also knew before hand. Other than that it was a great week although next time we will stay somewhere with a fish cleaning station.

Clean & beautiful
The pictures of their lake home are true and the communication with the hosts was excellent. It was a new experience for us from previous VRBO hosts. It was so relaxing and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the lake and sunsets and plan a return trip next year.

My family and I loved staying at Rich and Carol’s property. Everything was great, from being able to use the paddleboards, fishing, the firepit, the house, everything. We already planning on coming back!

Great Lake house!
This was our second stay at the lake house. Love the view and lake front! The property is a great location to town. We grilled out almost every night. Highly recommend the house and the hosts, both amazing people!

Incredible Lake House
The Lake house was exactly as pictured but it was so much more beautiful in person. The home was modern and updated exactly what we were looking for. The attention to details in every room is what impressed us the most. We easily felt right at home. Great kitchen with everything we needed to cook a home meal. The unobstructed view of the lake from the living room, dining room and kitchen was breathtaking. We loved the fire pit sitting area so close to the water where it was serene and we immediately felt so relaxed. The most memorable was the view of the amazing sunsets from every front room. We don't usually get to see such beautiful sunset views in the city. Rich and Carol were outstanding in communicating throughout the process with any questions. This home deserves way more than 5 starts. It was the best place to celebrate my birthday along side my husband for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this Lake house and we will return.

Lakefront Getaway
This was an AMAZING getaway. If your looking for beautiful lake and sunset views, quiet time, peace, nature, then this is the place. Communication from the owners surpasses anything I've experienced before and everything lived up to the listing if not, exceeded. We had planned on eating out but after arriving the views quickly changed our minds. Grilled daily while enjoying the awe inspiring sunsets. We definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for all the thought that went into this rental. Your attention to detail is second to none.

Lakefront Beauty
My wife and I spend eight wonderful night at this wonderful home. It location, directly lakefront, afforded a spectacular open water, fully unobstructed view. The house blended seamlessly with the outdoors and the lakefront....there are picture windows in both the dining and living areas. A built-in lakeside firepit makes for a wonderful place to enjoy the magnificent sunsets. In addition there is an outdoor hammock, sitting areas and fishing/swimming dock. The house is quite comfortable, and the hosts have provided many fine touches, making this feel like a very nice home. The two bedrooms each sport a comfortable king bed. The MBR has built-ins that provide generous storage space. The Hosts have done a fantastic job with the design, which would easily accommodate another couple. The hosts were great, accommodating and easy to communicate with. I fully recommend this Lake Livingston property.

Great Lakeside Getaway
The hosts were fantastic and easy to communicate with! The house was super clean and perfect for a multi-generational weekend away. We fished off the dock, relaxed in the hammock, and enjoyed a fire at sunset. Such a great weekend getaway.

My husband and I, along with our best friends had a remarkable time at the Lakehouse. The house was beautiful and view was breathtaking. This cute little cottage came equipped with everything you would need and is beautifully decorated and remodeled. The sunsets are a MUST! We will be back!!

This house is everything you need! We stayed in town to visit young nieces and nephews and not only was the property perfect for us, the kids loved getting to run around outside when they came to visit. It would be so awesome to come during summer! The views were unreal.

Amazing Lakehouse Experience!
Rich & Carol were amazing hosts and their lake house is top notch and equipped with anything you would need for a great stay. Great lake front and sunset views and my son even caught fish casting right off the dock. The fire pit was an added bonus and located real close to the water. Communication via email and text right at booking and following up post visit was top notch. I will be back and recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away and relax in peace and quiet.

An Awesome Experience
From the time of the booking to the last minute of our stay, the experience was awesome. After booking, Rich immediately sent a welcome email with essential information and even followed up with a personal text to see if I had any questions. Once we arrived on location, we found the home to be very clean and inviting. It felt like home. The attention given to the décor and quality of kitchen products was simply amazing. and definitely on the level of eloquence. This home provided everything one would need to create joyous memories with family and friends, all while experiencing God’s beautiful creations. The sunsets were breathtaking! and the rippling of the lake had such a peaceful and calming affect. We rented the home to celebrate my husband’s 58th birthday. This home was truly a blessing and an experience we will cherish forever. This home is where quality, serenity and a taste of elegance all come together in one place. Wonderful Location!
The property was beautiful with great views of the lake and spectacular sunsets. The inside of the house was remodeled very well with beautiful furnishing and with a contemporary yet cozy feel. It was perfect for my husband and I in our search for some tranquility with our weekend away from the kids. We plan to return with the kiddos because we know they will love it as well. We will definitely return!!

We met my brother and sister in law for a weekend getaway. This was the perfect spot. The house was very nice and we loved having coffee by the fire pit in the morning. We would highly recommend this place for a relaxing home away from home.

We love this lake house!
The location of the house is perfect. It's right by the lake, and only 10 mins away from the restaurants and shops in Livingston. There's also a dollar general a few mins away. The hosts are super considerate. They provided abundant information before our vacation started, and even prepared welcome gifts for us :). The house itself is gorgeous, very clean. We usually book 3-bedroom houses, but we felt there was enough space for all of us in this house. There were plenty of storage space, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting by the lake and watching the sunset. The view was priceless.

What a beautiful little place on the lake. Just what we were looking for for our 28th anniversary. Loved the extra little touches around the house. Nicely remodeled. The views from the house are amazing. Enjoyed watching the sunsets well sitting around the fireplace. Truly God’s creation. They owners were very responsive and made as feel at home. Only negative remark is we could not have stayed longer. If you need to get away for R/R, this is your place ❤️

Wow, this place was outstanding! Truly a hidden treasure. It was clean, recently updated, and unique in some amazing ways. Our host was always easy to reach, the instructions were clear and well organized, and oh my goodness....the views still have me speechless. Beautiful, clean, perfect view!
My friend and I came for a quick getaway before heading back to work and found the place to be more beautiful than described-- and I read every review before booking. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the house cool, the view is perfect. We drove into Livingston to eat and found many excellent restaurants to choose from. In the early morning and late evening, we fished from the pier and caught catfish for as long as we were willing to toss a line. We came during a blistering heatwave so decided to spend more time than planned indoors but the gorgeous view made up for the heat. The windows perfectly frame the lake and pier. Sunsets are amazing. This is probably the nicest VRBO I've ever rented.
