July 4th Staycation
We had 3 families that stayed here. This historic home was charming. The location was great! Within the main house, the kitchen, laundry room, living space and one bathroom were located on the first floor. There were 3 bedrooms upstairs with on suite bathrooms which worked out great for the 3 adult couples. The master had a king bed with a small pullout couch. The other 2 rooms had queen beds. There is a finished attic with 2 queen beds which is good for older children/teens as there is a spiral staircase which could be dangerous for small children. There are 2 one bedroom studio type living spaces with a full bath, kitchen, refrigerator and living space. These studio living spaces although attached to house were only accessible through an exterior door. One of these studio living spaces is upstairs and can be accessed directly out of the master bathroom as well as an exterior staircase. This studio had a queen bed. The other studio living space was downstairs and was larger. This had a king bed. All bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher soap, laundry soap for our 3 night stay. Kitchen had all your basic cooking needs. No large cooking pot. Bring Tupperware. The main house refrigerator and freezer have an ice machine and water dispenser. Each studio living space had a water filter pitcher. There were beach towels and chairs. Mattresses were comfortable and plenty of pillows.
