« Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold...

« We had 4 adults and 13 players on this trip. We never had any issues with not enough room. All the girls had a blast. The house was close to town but far enough out to feel private! I highly recommend this for future stays. »

« The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great. »

« Beautiful area. Our first experience “glamping” and it was fabulous! The host was very accommodating and friendly, everything was supplied for the camping experience. Host even started our evening camp fire when we arrived. All the comforts Of home. »

« We had a great weekend away at this property! It was charming, cozy, and clean. I especially loved the outdoor amenities - hot tub and screened in porch overlooking the water. Didn't get to spend as much time with those as hoped because it was pretty cold. »

« Highly recommend and much appreciated our stay. The cabin was perfect and had all the amenities needed. We had a great trip to Tennessee and the comforts of the cabin helped make that possible. We went and saw some of the waterfalls in the area book and they were spectacular. Thank you also for allowing us to bring our dog. Hopefully will visit soon again in the future. »

« We really enjoyed our long stay here! This cabin has the most beautiful view! I love it that much of this place is homemade. I love that they pour a lot of love into this place. We heard coyotes and owls at night. My dogs enjoyed the huge yard on the top of a hill. We will be back! Owners communicated often. The place is decorated very nicely. We enjoyed this stay immensely! »

« This is a beautiful property with spectacular views. The house is very well stocked for eating and cooking in and relaxing both inside and out. There are multiple places to relax including a nice home theater system upstairs and lounge chairs outside. The hot tub was amazing as it looks out over the bluffs. Beds were comfy and everything was super clean. Instructions were provided for everything which was thoughtful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Lastly the owner left us delicious...
