Cabin was amazing. They really go above and beyond to provide an absolutely wonderful experience. The kitchen is fully and kitchenware is very clean and well kept. The beds are very comfortable and they even have a mini library full of books and games/puzzles! I highly recommend staying here.

This is a great spot! It's secluded enough to make you feel like you're away, but close enough to the highway to get to the parks, hikes, and Summersville Lake. The place is so clean you could eat off the floors! The owners were 110% responsive. We'll definitely be back!

WE LOVED the Cabin at the NEW. It was the best place we have stayed at so far. Everything was within 15 minutes of driving, and the owners were very responsive when we had questions. The cabin was clean, Fun, and spacious. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin. We highly recommend it.

Hidden Gem

We loved this cabin and it's location -- secluded, but also close to main attractions. We came to white water raft, zipline, hike and sightsee. The cabin was a retreat for us to relax after a busy day, enjoy family meals, and soak in the hot tub. I especially loved the sunroom for reading. Hosts were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Oh, my kids loved the full size bunks in one of the upstairs bedrooms with easy side steps to access the top. Excellent bathrooms and accommodations for our family of six.

Our new favorite place

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this property and the owners are. Everything was very clean, wonderful amenities and within the most beautiful cabin I've ever been in. It felt like home from the moment we walked in. The owners were very kind and went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make us feel extra special since we had come out that way and booked the cabin for our nearby wedding. It was a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to return. This cabin has become our new favorite place, we're homesick for it already!

Sweet Thanksgiving

Our family of 4 stayed at this beautiful cabin for 4 days at Thanksgiving, with my sister. It was perfectly equipped, impeccably clean, and in such a lovely setting. We had terrible weather when we first arrived which knocked the power out for 12 hours. Then lots of rain. But, even that was completely fine. The dining table is great for board games and cards! The owners are attentive and kept in touch, making sure we got through the outage just fine. The trails in back are beautiful, even when soaked in rain. And the hot tub and fire pit are perfect complements. We could not have had a nicer time. We would definitely love to return!

West Virginia Fall Getaway

What a lovely, well appointed cabin and a great location! Easy and convenient access to the New River Gorge and neighboring areas of interest. A beautiful place to fully appreciate the spectacular fall changes in the mountains of WV. All of us enjoyed our stay and plan on returning.

Cabin at the New

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CABIN!!!

We stayed at Cabin at the New to get away for the weekend, be closer to the Spartan Race, and celebrate my daughter’s birthday. This place was exactly the size we needed (3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms) and the hot tub was AMAZING. Such a perfectly located, cozy, and quiet place. We Will absolutely stay at Tim’s Cabin at the New again. Thank you, Tim!

We'll be back!

This stay was amazing - the property and the house were incredible, just what we were looking for to really unwind, disconnect and just relax. The house was great for our group - 4 adults and a 9 year old. It was clean and comfortable, very well stocked and had the little touches that stand out - good linens, basic spices, kitchen supplies/utensils, coffee filters, etc. And the property - BEAUTIFUL! The trails, the trees, the foliage... if you are really looking to disconnect, this is the place! The grounds were well maintained, the sunroom was a favorite of ours as was the hot tub. Close to so many activities - hiking, tours, swimming, boating - never a chance to get bored. And while we don't expect needing anything or much attention from the owners on stays like this, if you have an issue, you want owners to respond quickly. The one time we needed to ask about something on this stay, someone was very quick to respond. I only wish we didn't have to leave, I certainly was not ready to! This is the kind of property that I would never question returning to and one I kinda wish I had for myself :) I miss it already!

Perfect

It was perfect! clean, comfortable and accommodating on the inside, slept like a rock. Outside has great walking trails, a nice fire pit or hot tube to relax after a day in the woods. Wonderful weekend at the New

We had a fantastic weekend of climbing and relaxing in this perfect little cabin in the woods. Tim was great at communicating and responding to any questions we had and we very much enjoyed their property. It was clean, well stocked, and perfectly laid out for our group of 6. Amazing Get-away!

This is the perfect getaway location! My family had a wonderful weekend. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and has all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was icing on the cake. I would absolutely recommend The Cabin at the New to anyone!

From the time we booked this property the owner went above and beyond! They made sure the Christmas tree was up. And all the essentials we could need to get our stay going. Property was just as beautiful as the pictures showed. My family was able to play games and really enjoy each others company!

Beautiful but don’t stay for hot tub

The cabin is very charming and cozy. However, we rented this property largely for the hot tub and was told it was set to 100* and ready. We stayed in motels d December and it was around 30-40* outside. We were unable to use the hot tub all weekend because the temperature lock was on and the water never got above 90* and we left the cover on all weekend. Given the temperature outside, the water was too cold to get in. Otherwise, no complaints.
