« The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. One minor negative is that there is a little bit of street noise from pedestrians on their way out of the city center after the bars closing. Usually...

« Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay. »

« The property is a conveniently located, very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious apartment. It also has a fantastic outlook north to the mountains and over the river and the south side of the city and the hills beyond. Getting in was easy and so was using the carpark. Highly recommended! »

« Als wir angekommen sind, war das Haus stark verschmutzt und heruntergekommen. Die Toilette zeigte noch die Hinterlassenschaften des Vormieters. Überall im Haus war Schimmel, da offensichtlich nach der letzten Vermietung nie wieder jemand einen Fuß in das Haus gesetzt hat, um zu putzen. Auch die Betten waren nicht neu bezogen worden. Das Haus muss dringend saniert und richtig geputzt werden. Nie wieder würde ich es buchen. »

« This was the perfect location for our visit to Inverness as it is in a quiet and lovely neighborhood that is a walkable distance to everything. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. « It is right off the main rd and not on the water. Parking was confusing as was the washer/ dryer to operate. I would say this cottage was an ok place to stay. It’s safe and clean but we could not turn up the heat. »
