Do not stay here
The property is in bad shape. Tv had a black bar across it. There was mold and smashed bug guts on the wall. Broken blinds on the windows. Multiple soft spots in the floor to the point it felt unsafe. Flooring held down with duct tape. Multiple trip hazards due to the state of the flooring in the house. Multiple stains on pillows, throw blankets in the living room. Had bees swarming on the deck around the cowboy pool. Spent 1 night and left (was supposed to stay 4) I sent pictures to host and the only response I got was to contact my insurance about a refund. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Beach was great, house was disappointing
The house itself was a great beach house. However, coffee maker didn’t work, outlets didn’t work, tv had a big black line through it, numerous dishes were found dirty and the neighborhood at night was a bit scary.

Mixed experience with safety and cleanliness concerns.
My family and I recently spent a night at this property and had mixed feelings about our stay. The Positive: • Location: The beach is essentially an extension of the backyard, making for an excellent seaside experience. • Neighborhood: The area is quiet and appears very safe. • Check-in Process: Checking in was easy, and the property manager was always accessible and quick to respond. The Negative: • Property Condition: The property seems to be in disrepair. While the TV worked, it was broken and had a line running through it. • Size: The property is small, which is clearly stated in the listing. • Safety Concerns: There were multiple soft spots and holes in the floor, especially in the bathroom and bedrooms, which felt unsafe. • Pest Issue: We encountered several cockroaches inside the home, as well as on and inside the porch furniture. Although this is a tropical climate, seeing numerous cockroaches during a one-night stay is concerning. Overall, I would not stay here again. The unsafe soft spots in the floor need immediate attention, and more measures should be taken to address the cockroach problem before renting out this property again.

Quick communication with the host. Convenient location. Not a crowded beach area. Affordable and perfect accommodations for our family of 7! Highly recommend this beach house if you’re going to Galveston!

Cozy little get away
Was a nice little get away with my wife 3 kids and our dog. Evrything was to our liking. We went when it was a little cooler out wish there was a partner to the cowboy pool"HOT TUB" That would have just been a plus thought. Overall loved the house and worked out perfect for our family!

Cute little house!
We had a great time and loved the location. The house is a little "cozier" than it appeared but we spent a lot of time on the beach and sight seeing, so it was fine. We enjoyed the "Cowboy Pool" and it was nice having the grill and the firepit.

Not bad, but not having decent beds made the stay tough. Few areas a little dirty, shower was pluged up due to tons of hair - ugh! Outside decks, cold pool and firepit were amazing.

Repairs were needed before we got there
Location was great. However, when we got there we noticed the side chair in living room was broken, a large decorative clock in primary bedroom had fallen off the wall and was just laying on the floor, the handle to the fridge was almost falling off, the fridge pooled water on the interior requiring constant cleaning, (we kept all of all beverages in a yeti outside, so this did not cause the issue) the vinyl plank flooring had a large piece broken off and just placed over the hole, (extreme tripping hazard for young and old) the subfloor was weak in many places and caused the home to feel unlevel, the bed frame in the primary bedroom was broken causing the bed to list drastically to one side making it extremely difficult to sleep, the mattresses in the bunk room were extremely thin and much like sleeping on the floor. The decks were nice to hang out on however, due to trash bins at the home and the neighbors home being full, flies made it difficult to enjoy these areas. The beach was not crowded and very clean. We enjoyed the home but would have liked a restful night’s sleep and would have liked the fridge to have been working properly and not require constant upkeep.

Great location
The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is very small and one bathroom can be challenging with 9 people, but overall it was great. The furniture and appliances had minor broken pieces/issues but nothing that kept us from enjoying our time there. The small pool on the deck was perfect for our kids to enjoy, and the very short walk to the beach made everything worth it!!

Wonderful Stay!
Our recent stay at this rental property was truly wonderful. The highlight of the property was undoubtedly the large deck that offered stunning views of the ocean - we spent most of our time outside, soaking up the sun and sea breeze. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it easy for us to cook meals together as a family. It was very clean upon arrival and we were able to settle in quickly to enjoy our stay! Highly recommend staying here!

This property is well-maintained, clean and the linens were abundant which was very nice! 2 roomy decks & space for all outside The bedrooms are big while the living space can be "cozy" for 2 adults and 2 teens. We brought our pet and that was seamless for him and for us in communication with the management team. They made it easy. The views were peaceful as you can clearly see the ocean & waves. The kitchen cabinets do not have traditional drawers so that is a unique feature. The livingroom provides a beautiful view of the ocean while comfortable seating for 4 people can be challenging. You will want to bring all spices, oils and foil/plastic wrap, bags for your needs. The owners quickly provided communication back to our question about this, so we knew what to expect. There is a toaster, blender, cheese grater and lots of kitchen gadgets, baking pans, boiling pans and strainer for families. We had a wonderful surprise when the coffee maker had an issue and the owners IMMEDIATELY had a new one delivered which was unexpected & amazing . We can say that it was evident that our needs were important and that is not always the case with other rentals, so kuddos to this owner/management team. Communication & courtesy for our needs was outstanding! We enjoyed our time with the house being so close to the beach - an easy, quick walk. You can't beat the location.

Perfect Beach Getaway
This house was precious and perfect from it’s decor and amenities to it’s proximity to the beach. And, the property owner was kind and prompt in all his responses. We could not have asked for more. We really enjoyed morning coffee on the top deck with a cool sea breeze overlooking other brightly painted beach houses and a view of waves coming in. The beach is a very short and lovely walk from the house. We walked the beach in the morning, played in the ocean in the afternoon and enjoyed sunsets there every evening. Last but not least, the house is just a few minutes from Galveston’s main drag where all types of fun awaits. For all these reasons and many more, this house is the perfect beach getaway!
