Girls weekend
We stayed at this house for a girls weekend and it worked perfectly. We walked to a cute coffee shop but mostly just hung out in the common space and hot tub. There is a bar across the street and also restaurants nearby. It worked perfectly for us!

1st timer renters!!
The location was great and by a bunch of cute restaurants and shops. The house was very clean and cozy. The bonus room above the garage was awesome. We had a great time chilling in the hot tub , grilling and hanging on the deck. We also brought our 18” boat with and fit perfectly on the water wall in the back. Overall our whole family had a great time and would definitely be back!! Thanks for all the hospitality!!!

Clean, Well appointed home. Comfortable stay.
Well stocked kitchen with everything needed for preparing meals in. Air conditioning kept the place cool. Lots of extra blankets if needed. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms stocked with shampoo, body wash, etc. Nice little library of books for kids. Clean lodging, and pictures are accurate. Gate latches are a little tricky at first but are fine once you figure out how they work. Host is friendly and very responsive throughout entire rental process. For those coming with boats: we found out you must have a special $80 Fox Waterway boat sticker to use the lakes or risk getting a big fine. We used the $25 spot across the street to launch and dock the boat for the entire weekend. It worked well. The launch is steep and narrow, but we were fine. We parked the boat trailer along a tree line on the edge of the bar parking lot. It is visable from the rental. There is also a dock in front of the rental which is free to use instead (although you still need to launch somewhere else. The bar has a sign offering a $15 launch fee.) You have to "parallel park" end to end between two boats. If your boat is small enough, you are a good driver, and you have a helper, it is doable. However, it is very shallow. (We had to shift people around on the boat as we were bottoming out on one side next to the dock as we approached.) We docked our 20 foot pontoon boat here once during the day just fine. (Longer than that won't fit.) Nice accommodation. You can't go wrong staying here!

Getaway Haven
Every year my husband and I along with some friends take a weekend couples getaway. This year we picked Fox Lake, and we lucked out. The house ticked off all of our requirements when looking (at least 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, on/near water, and hot tub)! Willow and Steve are amazing, and it was such a joy meeting them. The boys caught more fish on this vacation than our past vacations and were thrilled. Thank you for being so responsive and welcoming. Thank you for having such a lovely home for others to enjoy!!!

boat ramp and slip
the description and usage of boat ramp and slip should be reviewed. needs to include the depth of water and outboard motors only. The owner was nice and let us park our SUV and boat trailer there, as he should we paid $25 to use their slip. We had to make other arrangements at Ben Watts Marina and got the last slip for our length of boat, which also cost more out of pocket. But overall we had a nice stay. Could have your cleaning company brush down all the spiders and webs. Thanks

Little taste of paradise!!
Wow!! This place was amazing! It was BEAUTIFULLY decorated in a coastal theme and everything was clean and ready to go. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty room for your stuff. We docked our pontoon across the street and it was so easy to explore Fox Lake! We would definitely stay again!!

Great place to stay on Fox Lake!
Great place to stay with lots of options for everybody! You can go shop and eat, go fishing and swimming, or just relax in the hot tub. This is my go-to place when visiting Fox Lake.

Great place for a birthday party
I celebrated my 40th birthday there. The bar room above their garage is awesome. It was nice that it is separate from the house. There was also a small bar across the street, which was tons of fun. The neighbors are very close to the house.

Clean and Lovely Space
A wonderful place to stay! Super spacious house that is very clean and well maintained. Hosts were super nice and getting in contact with them was no problem. The location is also perfect, only a couple minutes from the lake and quiet neighborhood. Overall a 10/10 stay!

Beautiful
Steve and Willow were amazing hosts. They checked in on us everyday to see how everything was going. They even suggested places to go visit like the Volo museum on days that the weather was not so nice. The house was amazing and the kids loved fishing off the pier into the channel. The second house/apartment was a great place to relax and we all watched a movie. It was a perfect getaway. We highly recommend this place.

Great Home Away From Home
I absolutely loved staying at this property. Everything was clean and maintained very well! I am originally from this area and I finally found a suitable home to keep coming back to when I visit my family. My nieces and I enjoyed swimming at the beach during the day and fishing off of the pier in the evening. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! I will be back soon.

Relaxing Stay at a Great Property
Our group of friends really enjoyed our stay at Steve and Willow's property. Lots of amenities and space to relax. We also had fun exploring some restaurants and shops in Fox Lake when we weren't boating. Great communication from Steve and Willow throughout!

Girls’ Weekend
We had a group of six girls and greatly enjoyed our time at this property. The hosts left clear check-in/check-out instructions and answered my questions promptly. The hot tub was great, and we were able to easily make our way to Lake Geneva for a nice dinner on Saturday evening.

The house was perfect for what we were looking for! The homeowners checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were comfortable, and responded quickly when asked a question. My kids loved fishing in the canal! The beds were all comfortable with super soft sheets!

OMG! My Husband and I went to Fox Lake for his 40th Birthday and we had the most amazing time. This house was clean and neat and so cute. Everything we needed was there in the home, and if it wasn’t all the stores were within walking distance. Steve and Willow were great host and I’ve already told family about the home. We will certainly book again, this time for more that the weekend!

Super cute lake house
This place is adorably decorated. They have really made an effort to take a small layout and add space wherever possible. We were just 4, so the original 3 BR 1 BA layout worked for us. The other 2 BA are in the basement and next door in the apartment above the garage. Great location, right on the canal feeding into fox lake. Hot tub and patio with fire pit also very nice. Our only complaint was the time it took us to talk to the owners when we had issues. The entry lock is tricky and we misunderstood the directions. It took about an hour for them to call us back. They also say recommendations are in the ‘guidebook’ but there is not a printed version in the house. The link did not work until we pasted it into a browser. Overall, a great experience, we really liked the house and location.
