„Our VRBO rental was the ONLY thing that went according to plan on our trip from New England to Kansas City. We found the house to be exactly as the descriptions and photos. Our host Mia was quick to respond as I informed her of multiple flight delays and cancellations due to crazy thunderstorms in the Midwest. When the house lost power, Mia was quick to let us know that the electric company was taking care of it, and followed up to make sure the electricity was back on. The house is located near ...

„My friend and I brought our kids for a spring break get away. We loved having extra room to spread out! We enjoyed being about 30 mins from downtown. Our youngest child was 2, and we were thankful she’s completely fine on steps, as there are a lot! We enjoyed having a big kitchen and dining room to have family dinners at the end of our days. “

„There were 5 of us who all brought sewing machines to set up. We used the living room as our sewing room and set up our cutting station in the foyer. Ironing board and design board set up in the dining room. We appreciated having the downstairs bathroom. Even with the rain, sleet and snow we were cozy, sewing away in our farmhouse.“

„We have stayed here before and as always; this property was perfect for us. Quiet, Clean and well appointed. Out in the country but only minutes from anything you need. We will always look to see if this property is available anytime we plan an overnight stay in Independence, MO“

Historisches Hotel in zentraler Lage

"Das Hotel aus den 1930er Jahren ist sehr schön im Art Deco Stil gestaltet. Die Lage in der Stadt ist sehr zentral, alles ist zu Fuß oder mit der kostenlosen Metro, die ebenfalls nur 100 m entfernt ist, zu erreichen. Auch die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber etwas abgewohnt. Die Klimaanlagen sind sehr veraltet, lassen sich nicht abstellen und rauschen rund um die Uhr wie ein Wasserfall. Der Service an der Rezeption, die teilweise noch nicht einmal besetzt war, war zum Teil unerträglich. Sowohl unfreundlich als auch unprofessionell. (Mit Ausnahme einzelner Mitarbeiter tagsüber)."
