They are repeat visitors at the Palms because it is second to none on Ocean Beach. Bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas provided making it stress free. Staff is always accommodating including assisting with luggage at the dock. They took their own boat and the staff still met them and assisted. « It was very comfortable and peaceful. A great place to stay. It's pricey, but everything on the island is these days. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. »

« We stayed one night and this hotel was awesome. First, they allow a 11:30 am check in which is rare. We were visiting friends so we dropped bags off and came back late night but it was convenient be able to do so. The room was immaculate and even though the bathrooms are shared, you get the full bathroom to yourself when you use it. The location is great just outside the ferry terminal. « This house was very nice, as pictured or better. Clean, no issues checking in or out. Wagon was there as promised, more bikes than promised, lots of beach towels and chairs provided. « Quick 2-night stay, couldn’t have been more comfortable. Ocean Beach (town) has everything (one would need for a Fire Island stay), yet the house is beautifully secluded away from it all. « We loved the location, but the home was loaded with spiders, most appliances did not work (dishwasher did not work, blender, toaster oven, the stove top only half worked) - plus the pots were scratched (and with Teflon not useable) The shower door was broken and would not close, the toilet paper roll holder had no dowel to hold roll, toilet seat very loose, door frames were chipped and dirty, hold in wall next the bed in room with bunkbeds, laundry closet had missing doors. »
