« We were in town to visit family over the Christmas holidays and needed a place to sleep and eat breakfasts. This was clean as a whistle, has an adorable 50s style kitchen, plenty of hot water. It’s walking distance to downtown Baker City (just two blocks). You can hear trains and an occasional clock tower bell, otherwise it was very quiet. »

« Had the most wonderful stay at this property! Host was excellent and responded very quickly! The loft was gorgeous and had everything you could possibly need. There is a steep staircase in which you must carry your luggage up so be aware to either have help or are able to lift your belongings. Outdoor parking right in front of building. Washer dryer was very helpful to have. I had an internet issue that turned out to be an outage related to bad weather, but our host went above and beyond to try...

« Great stay in a beautiful setting. Studio was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Owners were very nice and always there if we needed information. « Overall, this was such a creative and rustic place. I loved the antique pieces and the functional use of items. The bed was very comfortable. The challenge was that the deck had not been cleaned (bird droppings and just grime) for a long time - had to put a towel on the chair to cover the yuk. The adirondack chairs down by the beautiful brook were not used due to the many bird droppings that were not new. Attention to these details would have left me providing a fantastic review, but the bird...

« Very much enjoyed our stay. Had all we needed and the owner was very responsive and prompt with communication. Only negative comment would be that it is on the main road through town which was loud when large trucks drove by. That would not be a deterrent from staying again. Just an FYI for those traveling who are light sleepers. Little bakery underneath was fantastic. »

« We rented the loft to take the kids on the polar express. It is beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we could possibly need. We walked everywhere in downtown. The Christmas tree was beautiful, giant stuffed teddy bears and children’s book set out, the tv was on streaming a Christmas scene with Christmas music. All the little touches added to an already exceptional property. We hope to be back in the future. »

« The stay was amazing and very relaxing. Cabin had all the amenities needed. Highly recommend staying here. Was a challenge getting out even with a 4 wheel drive and chains. Had to be winched out. Was able to leave the truck at the top of the drive way only down fall was that we had to pack everything we brought IN and Out but all and all was still a great stay. »
