« The property is amazing. It is the perfect cabin for a small family. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails. The inside was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed for the week. They even include a sofa cover if you are bringing your doggy. Perfect location for activities in Canaan, Davis, Thomas, Spruce Knob….Chip and Laurie respond to messages quickly. « The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day. »

« House & property described to a tee! Our son is a student athlete at D&E and was unable to leave for spring break so we went to him. It was exactly what we expected. WV experienced all four seasons in one week. It made our stay even better. We walked the river on the warm days, admired the sleet, hail and snow on the others. Enjoyed the hot tub & the heated bathroom floors. Will come back for some kayaking in the summer. Loved it! Ohhhh and the beds are comfy! Thank you! »

« We absolutely LOVED staying here! Shannon was super communicative and the house is exactly as described. It is up to date, very open, comfy, super clean! It snowed and was very cold while we were here, but the house stayed warm and cozy. It has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need, huge dining room table for gatherings, huge sectional to relax at the end of the day. « This was our second time at this property. This time we took our two boys. They loved it just as much as we did. The location is perfect for hiking during the day. And the house is perfect for enjoying each others' company in the evenings. The host has always been super helpful. My youngest son didnt want to leave and is making plans to return in the future. »

« Two couples for a few days in Davis and a great stay at a fantastic property! The space was perfect for the four of us. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck for cocktails and using the hot tub when the weather was cooler. The fireplace inside made for cozy movie watching nights. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this property and we appreciated staying there. Would highly recommend!! »
