« Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. No WiFi or cabin itself so I skied up closer to the main house to pick it up when needed. Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings! Will definitely return in warmer weather to check out the...

« I traveled alone with my two young sons to the train in Romney, and his hotel option was clean, safe, welcoming and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the cookies at checkin were a fun surprise! A wonderful option where there are only a few hotels. »

« Owners and staff were great. My dog loved it »

« Grass was very high some places up to our knee. Mold on house and inside smell. Toilet didn’t work. Bathtub was filthy. We didn’t even stay the night we left. TV didn’t work. No check in communication with owner when we checked in the campground didn’t even know we was coming . Walls were dirty. »

« A great way to disconnect from your phones. »

« We had a peaceful stay at the little cabin. We were looking forward to the swimming hole but had to travel and find a place bc the water was so low along the camp. The bed was not up to our standards but the feel of the place more than made up for it. We had a wonderful time. »

« The cabin is beautiful! It was a private relaxing getaway. Everything was very clean and well organized. They had an information packet set out that answered most of our questions. It was really nice enjoying the peace and quiet by the fire drinking our wine. »

« Very secluded, the cabins were spaced apart so you could really enjoy the sounds of nature. »

« Windows did not close Lock on door was only a chain lock( not an issue but something i would have liked to know prior) Room had not been cleaned. Hot pocket was in fridge from prior guest, under the bed was dust bunnies. Mattresses are dingy. Again not an issue bc i knew it was going to be rustic but losing says it’s cleaned with medical grade and after each visit. It’s a good dry place to stay and not a tent. Check in guy was nice and helpful. »

« The cabin was very nice. Once we figured the area out. Grocery store wasn’t that far away. Very quiet and seen some wild life (deer). In the morning it was great to sit on swing with my coffee and watch the deer graze. »

« Mice were in the walls of the cabin and one fell from the ceiling insulation and the entire property just looked rundown and used heavily. Putting a few thousand dollars would help with the entire overhaul. Camping sites could be upgraded with better amenities. Much more of a concentration camp than a campground. »

« Host was fantastic, very responsive and spared no expense trying to make our stay enjoyable. House was clean and had everything needed. Would definitely recommend staying here! »

« The inside of cabin had exposed insulation. I understand its to be "roughing it". But at a point health hazards are important. Bathrooms we not maintained with paper. Water stations were not operational. Table was filthy after one wipe with a baby wipe it was brown. Other reviews of the showers were not pleasant so we didn't even bother to look. Talking to a few locals the place is known to be a nudist camp. Supposedly they are being watched by police for drug trafficking. This is all hear...

« Pretty campground along a rushing creek. Cabin was plain but adequate. Shower facilities need a good scrubbing. Enjoyed our time here. Would stay again. »

« You can really tell the house is cared for. It feels like a home. It had everything you could need. They have a well stocked kitchen and even supply snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is huge with a stream behind it with a Great fire pit. I do recommend this property and will definitely go back »
