« The house looks just like the pictures. There were a few things that could use a more thorough inspection eye. The lockbox the key is in was very difficult to get open, it seemed like it was sticking some. Over all the house was pretty clean minus a few cobwebs. There were light bulbs out between the inside of the house and the exterior. I would suggest removing the bathmat in the tub as they cannot be cleaned throughly between guests. « This property was amazingly unique! Having only an outdoor shower and the closed in bathroom outside also. We were there right after Hurricane Helene hit. So that was interesting 😂. But I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I would definitely keep the season/weather in mind though. There is a mini split keeping it cool. And space heaters to turn on when it’s cold. »

« Over all the stay was great… a few things though I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned better.. and was rather disappointed to find the charcoal grill with no charcoal, I think the listing should have said it was a charcoal grill so I knew to bring charcoal. Luckily we had a camping grill with us that we could use and the grill was not cleaned out by the last person or the host it was plumb full of ash.. »

« This large, private house; tucked into secluded nature, had everything our group needed for a very comfortable stay. Well stock with the most comfortable beds and thick thirsty towels I have ever had in a rental home. Thank you, Cathy, for your attention to detail and being so accommodating when we needed help lighting the lower-level fireplace.
