Avantstay was wonderful! Anything I asked for was addressed fast. I would definitely stay at one of their properties again!
The location is amazing! It's the reason to book this property, and why I still gave it 3 stars. The view is beautiful,and it's easy to walk across the street to the beach and The Crab Trap.
Unfortunately the property needs alot of work. The pool has a leak. We had to fill it up 3 times during our stay. There are hard water and rust stains on the sides. The pump is so loud and runs constantly. The landscaping is overgrown and looks terrible. It's hard to go out the front gate to go to the beach because the landscaping is in bad shape. There is a sewer problem, so when you walk in the front door, it smells. That smell also goes up the back staircase. There isn't hot water in the casita and the second floor bedroom. They came out and fixed it, but the next day, it was broken again. The bedframes in the casita are falling apart, and lots of small bugs. They offered to spray, but we were nervous about the chemicals around our dogs. No closet in the casita, very tiny bathroom, and one of the drawers in the only chest was broken and missing. The kitchen cabinets are literally falling apart!!! The bottoms of the drawers are falling out. The fronts of the cabinets are coming off. Some of the chairs at the main dining table are broken. The 3rd floor master suite has a vanity that's so tall it's almost unusable! Washer and dryer were terrible!
